Three female relatives were beaten by a group of about 20 attackers when ordering dinner for their family Friday evening at a Burger King in the city's Chatham neighborhood, police and witnesses said.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged as a juvenile with one count of battery, police said.
According to the preliminary police report, the victims were ordering their food when a male told one of the women he was going to beat them if they didn't leave the restaurant.
When they didn't leave, a group of males and females they did not know ran toward the victims and began beating and kicking them before fleeing the scene, according to the preliminary report.
One of the victims, Michelle Pearson, 18, said she and her cousins, Markiesha Tyler, 19, and Sierra Montgomery, 20, went to the Burger King about 6 p.m. Friday to get dinner for their children and family.
Pearson said the altercation started when a female accused her of "looking at her." That female went outside but returned with a group of about 15 males and 5 females.

Just an obvious observation....but with all this attitude, crime, and gang activity going on....when exactly are people going to get armed and carry a piece everywhere they go? In a decade? Two decades? Everybody in Chicago needs to add up the threat and figure that the cops aren’t part of the solution anymore. Everyone from Grandma, on down to eighteen year old girls....needs to carry a pistol and just let folks know that stupid problems can be dealt with.

Look, I could point to the same statistic as a factor of poverty and environment.
The black community has been devastated by decades of democrat's institutionalized discrimination.
We need to be working to salvage what we can and acclimate them into American society, not further isolate the community.
This also needs to be done in conjunction with the complete and total destruction of the entitlement culture.
Come what may, we need to integrate those who are willing, good and decent Americans into society.

We have to start containing the blacks while they are in process of taking themselves out, for the safety of the rest of society.
I really want to know why this should not be done, we are dealing with people that believe a “look” deserves a mob beating. Seriously. Just compartmentalize them back into urban housing areas again and just let them finish themselves off, they want to do this to each other. Just don’t let them do it to anyone else.
