I listened to the tape Rush played. It’s hilarious! If Holder tried to prosecute O’Keefe that tape would be played at a trial.

The Attorney General of each State being sued by the DOJ over voter ID should subpoena a copy of O’Keefe’s tape. It is so richly ironic. God Bless O’Keefe.

I was actually able to get gas for 3.95 a gallon yesterday. But that’s because I had one of those supermarket cards that reduces the price depending on how much you spend at the supermarket. That being said, anything over a dollar a gallon makes me furious!

I have to confess that personally I am a little complacent about it (so far), only because I drive my Honda just 20 or so miles a day and just during the work week. I only fill up with gas once every 10 days or so.

My BF does the driving during the weekends, and he would be having a cow just now about the gas prices, if he didn’t drive a bi-fuel car that also runs on natural gas. CNG is about $1.79 a gallon equivalent.

We’re doing a lot of extra driving right now—so I’m filling up evey 5 days or so. I get about 23 mpg...and last week I was at about $70. Throw in tolls, and we bring lunch to kids away baseball games:(

Has anyone been affected yet by the NBPP Day of Action?

Well, I've been so absolutely consumed by these threats and hard talk that I can barely drink my coffee without spilling all over my keyboard.

....or spitting what I do get into my mouth all over the monitor.

I should really call Beck and give him directions to The Homestead to pass on to these bada$$ comicbook readers.

I won't be home until late, but if they represent anything Grandma can't handle all by herself, there's a couple old Gunnysergeants in the area who would welcome the chance to come for coffee and a little light amusement.

Our kids are grown now so we don’t have all the games to go to that we had before, and they were a LOT! But still, our SUV costs 80 dollars + to fill up now. :(

That’s got to be a drag on the economy. So you don’t eat out now at the games, just to pay for the gas.

We have a condo share on Catalina Island and the gas prices are always high. 98 % of the residents in Avalon own golf carts, those who own anything larger are either city work vehicles or are plumbers, electricians or landscapers and such. When we fill up our golf cart it’s so minimal because the miles per gallon on a golf cart is so high and there’s literally no place to go except 5 or six blocks away. 7$ a gallon is a yawner.

No drag racing but you don’t have to worry about getting a DWI if you know what I mean...

Hey Rush!!!

I think that instead of all the “health warning labels” on products, there should be a “tax included” warning.

I remember that so-called “excise tax” (aka monopoly) was printed on the gas pump, the stamp on the bottom of cigarette packs, and the state seal on liquor bottles included the amount of tax levied on them.

STAMP OUT HIDDEN TAXES

also — let’s have a law that requires anyone who promotes higher taxes on anyone for any reason, all the way from fed income tax down to a county dog license should lose all right to exemptions, credits, and write offs. They should have to pay the max on the gross income.

Thinking of switching to CNG myself, but until then, I am also NOT complacent on the price of gas and mostly because of the harm it does to the country as a whole. It places an undue restriction on the lives of many. I have even had parents tell me that they are removing their child from traveling sports leagues because of the cost of gas.
