To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.

We are the resistance!!

Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!

I can see November from my house!!

Howdy Quix,

Vote a third person / write in, will keep total vote % lower for the winner, less of a claim to a ‘mandate’.

Vote downticket, House and Senate are IMPORTANT.

And above all, as you have noted, PRAY and fast, and TRUST in the Lord.

Hey, WTC! I’m 76 years old now and a veteran. I believed that for years I fought the good fight and believed 25 years ago that things were going rather smoothly in this nation.

However, as a PhD I find that today I don’t know a damned thing. How a nation like ours can become so convoluted and screwed up as to elect the garbage we have in my lifetime escapes me. I, like millions, continued to vote for the lesser of two evils with one exception: REAGAN.

We have a liar and a criminal in the White Hut who has been busy destroying America with lots of help from complicit bureaucrats and congressrats, but what does the worthless Republicrat Party dish up for us? Obozo Lite.

As I’ve stated before: the solution is going to be distasteful to many, but Washington today looks a lot like Madrid in 1936 with the only exception being that the commissars weren’t shipped over from Russia, they were already here!

I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. This nation’s problems can’t be resolved by voting for either lousy party: either a legitimate third party or a benevolent despot.

you own whatever more evil befalls this once great country.

I own one thing and one thing only. My vote. One citizen one vote. Mine will not go for a 'lesser evil'.

Those in government benefit by making government bigger. Has any Pubbie ever asked for a pay cut or backed a bill for a pay cut for all of our elected officials in the HoR or the Senate?

Have the Pubbies ever done the same in regards to curtailing the powers they have granted to the same people?

I don’t look at the intentions just the results.

>>But as for conservatives like me? We will NOT support a party that has betrayed us.<<

Oh my gosh, I've said this soooo many times throughout the years on FR and have gotten absolutely skewered by so many folks.

All throughout the Bush years, baby Bush years when we were forced to endure big government Republicans, compassionate conservatism and loss of personal liberties.

If we keep fishing from the same ol pond, were gonna keep catchin the same ol big mouth bass.

Hint hint....were fishing from a pond in Massachusetts.

I’ll be concentrating my efforts on the downticket races. Tim Walberg and Stabenow’s opponent.

I’d love to see Newt win TX, CA, NY, PA and many others now with Rick out. A girl can dream. I will never forgive Romney for what he has done with his scorched Earth campaign. I’ve already received 2 emails from the Newt campaign this afternoon.

Romeny will NOT win. Can not win. He is Obama lite anyway. The GOP knows it. We are so close to a one-party system and here are people arguing about which socialist to elect.

Really? A Repub socialist is better than a Dem socialist? My vote will go to neither.

Romney reminds me of the olde tyme snake oil man making promises where a person could end up losing money or their life.

“Have any of you who taut the SCOTUS nominations as a reason for voting Romney actually looked at his Judicial appointment record”

These folks haven't looked at the SC. If Obama is reelected the is no way in hell he will get to appoint replacements for the conservatives currently sitting on the court because they simply wont step down during an Obama administration but if Romney is elected Kennedy and possibly even Scalia may retire giving Romney the chance to appoint Liberals to replace the most conservative justice and the conservative swing vote.

That is one of the greatest dangers Romney poses.

I hope God blesses the Santorums, too, especially little Bella. Prayers for her health are in order, no matter whom you support.

It’s been rough here between the Santorum/newt people lately, but I AM sorry for you folks who supported Rick and are dealing with this disappointment. I remember how bad I felt when Perry dropped out-—it’s no fun.

Agreed. No true conservative should stay home. Elect the most conservative Congress we can and hope for a Romney victory. Obama is devastating the country. Romney, flaws and all, is an improvement.

That’s how I vote in the booth although I am registered Republican for the purpose of hoping to influence the primaries.

If people are going to vote third party, then they need to get on the same page in an attempt to give the third party candidate enough votes to win.

If not, we need to lift up our heads for our redemption draweth nigh.

Newt is the one I am voting for. By the time they get around to NY, he may not be on the ballot.

2008, NYC and it's boroughs had Fred Thompson on it's ballot. Suffolk County did not; however, they had Rudy!

The million dollar question is who to write in.......unless of course we witness AND participate in a TRULY historical moment......BROKERED CONVENTION!!!

"Captain Social Justice"-Mitt Romney the Liberal from Massachusetts who Appoint Liberal After Liberal to keep things "Balanced"

If you don't have the conviction to say NO to Liberals with either a D or R by their name, than maybe you should Join the Mitt Cheerleader Squad on another site because FR isn't one.

“I do think that Mitt will appoint conservative judges and justices...”

On what evidence do you base that?

I hate to say it, but I think Franklin is going to end up being right about this system of government not working. He said it would only govern a moral people, which we were, but we aren’t any more.

That's right. Blame our fellow citizens (along with the illegals who cast their fraudulent votes). The "GOP-e" is just a symptom of the real problem, which is that the majority of voters (republicans as well as democrats) support big government and de facto socialism. Both parties pander to voter greed. Of the two, the Democrat party is the more extreme. Sink the GOP ship, and we're left with an unrestrained Marxist dictatorship without counterbalance. Conservatives can either salvage and repair the leaky ship or abandon it to the enemy.
