President Obama has money troubles. The president's re-election campaign was rumored to be a $1 billion juggernaut, it was supposed to dominate the 2012 election. But it has fallen short of that lofty number, by a lot.

The inability to reach the big B is a warning signal to the base. In 2008 Democrats had every reason in the world to donate, and they need to be convinced of the same this time around.

the lack of money means the magic is gone.

Yes, Democrats still rally around their little tin god. But independents and even the moron Republicans (a population larger than we want to admit) who voted for him are now awake.

They’re not going back to the assclown.

He may not do a thing. I think Soros got most of what he wanted in the first term. He might not see the same benefits from supporting Obama during the second term.

Any chance that the recent anti-trust actions have anything to do with Obama’s lack of fund raising?

Nawwwww.

Money woes?

Is this disinformation to divert attention away from the kickbacks from the hundreds of billions of dollars that Obama doled out as "stimulus"?

The reality is that a crony capitalism model run by a RINO businessman would actually be more efficient because he doesn’t have as many union hacks to pay off and as many bitter minorities clinging to their drugs and EBT cards to appease.

Money drying up for obozo is good, but keeping him off the ballot is the best.
How can we convince or find 1 judge/court that has the balls to order the SOS of the state to keep his name off the ballot? then there might be a cascading effect....

He is NOT elig to run in the first place but we are forced to vote against him. DISGUSTING! WE ARE LITERALLY FORCED TO VALIDATE HIS ILLEGITIMACY BY VOTING AGAINST HIM!

You are so right and I know some! The pie in the sky eaters realize now that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t. The lying, teleprompter president has been found out.

So- is the implication now that the Office of President of the United States now has a $1Billion price tag?

Am I the only one disgusted by this implication? And we wonder why good men don’t step forward to run. That kind of money comes not just with strings attached, but ropes and chains as well.

Sounds good, but the WSJ seemed to indicate he had $50 million more in his coffers than Romney this morning, including super PACs. And the Romney campaign gets very low mileage.

Just Liberals being Liberals. They did not get everything they wanted from their 2008 “investment” so now they are stamping their feet, holding their breath and turning blue.

Unions did not get Card Check
Enviros did not get Carbon Tax
Gays did not get National Gay Marriage

...etc.

Basically they are all children, and behave as such.
A Temper Tantrum pure and simple.

We now have a lackluster conservative(?) nominee. Obama’s donors know they no longer need to pay out as much to defeat him.

Even Democrat voters don’t want socialism that this President wants.

Voting for 0bama in 2008 was SUPPOSED to buy them “racial absolution”. They got ripped off,

and this Trayvon Martin deal is just ramming that fact home, and hard.

Racial divisiveness will never end, because there is too much power in it for the left.

The rat voters I know DO want socialism, in concept,

but they don’t want it to be blatantly obvious that they support socialism. This guy pulls back the curtain on their “progressiveness”.

News like this is beginning to give me a little hope that Romney might be able to pull this off. He wants to be POTUS so badly that he will pull out all of the stops to defeat Obama just as he did against his Republican rivals. I don't think Romney will be afraid to criticize our “first black President” the way McCain was during his campaign against Obama.

There are two things I’m very sure of regarding this election:

1) The Democrat base is nowhere near as fired up as they were in ‘08. Their turnout will be less.

2) The Republican base, even with Romney as the nominee, will crawl over broken glass to vote against Obama.

I also think the wishy-washy Independents (you know, the folks who aren’t sure what they believe) will swing away from Obama. This election is all about jobs and the economy and Obama has failed miserably in those two areas. There is no way for him to get around it.

This election is ours to lose.
