I’ve been here for many years. And I admire you, Jim. I know you will do what you think is right. But if it comes to giving Obama 4 more years to finish destroying this country, I will hold my nose and vote for Romney. If you wish to banish me, so be it.

If you’re going to wave the white flag before the battle has even begun, please do us all a favor and wave it on some other website.

Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God!!

We are the resistance!!

That is the point, the establishment backing Romney from the start was a loser strategy- almost as if it were planned. Romney can’t win, I don’t think it’ll be close at this point.

His record in Massataxes is far too liberal for the GOP base and his “image” is right out of central casting for the evil white Wall Street elitist.

Do you think “Occupy Wall Street” was an accident? They KNEW that Romney was the GOP-annointed way back then. It doesn’t matter than the real Wall Street is going to give Barry his billion, the narrative has been written.

The “real” Romney is too far to the left to capture the base while the public/MSM Romney is going to be the stereotypical evil rich Republican who says things like “I’m not concerned about the very poor” and puts dogs on the roof rack for long trips.

It’s as though the Democrat elite sat down after 2010 and designed the best way for the GOP to lose big in 2012 and then have the GOP elite follow it word for word.

If that script is followed right on through November you could see Obama win in a landslide against the “severely” something liberal Romney.

With the embrace of Romney the Republican Party has moved further left than Bill Clinton of 20 years ago. Meanwhile the narrative will be that it is the “rightwing extremists” who will cause their loss on election day.

I will hold my nose and vote for Romney

There are so many of us in this country feeling the same exact way. I can't stand Romney but I am scared to death of Obama getting another term with nothing to lose.

We have nowhere to turn. I understand the venom for Romney and the RNC. I feel that venom too. (How the hell can a true Morman be pro-abortion and gay marriage?? He is a phony!) But my choices are limited and I can't live with myself for staying home on election day. I doubt JimRob and the rest understand what a corner we are backed into.

So have I been a faithful Freeper for years, but a vote against Mitt is a vote for the evil Obama. Four more years for the Muslim commie would be the end of the US as we know it.

I voted Palin/McCain on that philosophy, but no more.

It occurs to me that that kind of thinking and voting is what's given us the current GOP mentality we see now. They're putting forth RINO candidates because we as conservatives and ( now becoming former) Republicans went along with it, voting for the progressively liberal options they offered us.

I suspect that if we had put our collective foot down many years ago, we wouldn't be in this mess today. We're here because the GOP has learned that we WILL hold our noses and vote party to keep the the dems out of office. We can't keep this up forever. There has to reach a time where we say enough is enough, let the chips fall where they may and stand up for truth and freedom and getting this country back on track.

The Colonists had a bigger fight on their hands than we do and they won. We can too.

So, no more voting for RINO'S for me.

You don’t want barry but you are ASSUMING the maggot mitt will beat him. You are voting out of fear and NOT common sense.

I see nowhere do you mention Newt. So therefore, I don’t see anything PRO AMERICAN with you - other than your screen name. Seems fear takes presidence and not fight - they got to you.

I agree with your post 100%! You have correctly identified the #1 enemy of rights, freedom, and the Constitution and it is unmistakably OBAMA. Supporting or creating an environment that results in the re-election of Obama is hari kari. I’m a hard core right winger but I am not a Stepford Wife. If this post is my adieu via banishment, then best wishes to all. This was my favorite site, but I’ll get over it.

But if it comes to giving Obama 4 more years to finish destroying this country, I will hold my nose and vote for Romney.

Here's the News...(I hate to break it to you):

#1 The Democrats will ALWAYS run a country-destroying POTUS candidate...(I mean, c'mon now...they have been out to destroy the womb, destroy marriage, destroy the family, and destroy jobs, so why is this some "new" bent or new threat framed around here by the would-be Romney voters?)

#2 The GoP -- as long as it remains in existence -- will continue to run RINOs just barely to the left of the country-detroying Dem candidates...and eventually to the left of Obama...

So the message you send to the next generation or two: "Hold your nose...Yeah, I know vote left of Obama some year...'cause the Dems will ALWAYS offer somebody worse...but, hey we're political relativists to the max."

Sorry. That's no way to run -- or treat -- a party that's now officially CINO -- Conservative in Name Only.
