An affidavit of probable cause in Florida's case against George Zimmerman for the shooting death of an unarmed 17-year-old says Zimmerman "profiled" Trayvon Martin.
Forty-seven days after Martin was shot and killed in a Sanford, Fla., neighborhood, a solemn Zimmerman made his first court appearance Thursday, wearing gray jail coveralls and speaking only a few words as his arraignment was set for next month.
Zimmerman faces a charge of second degree murder in the 17-year-old's death.
Seminole County Judge Mark Herr, who spoke via a closed-circuit television connection during the four-minute hearing, set Zimmerman's arraignment for May 29 and said all matters including bond and further motions in the case will be handled by Circuit Court Judge Jessica Recksiedler going forward.
Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, did not ask that Zimmerman be released on bond, although he said earlier in the day he wanted his client released as soon as possible.
He did note, however, that being out on bail could jeopardize Zimmerman's safety....

Thanks for the link I don’t think anyone should be discouraging donations until Zimmerman’s attorney himself states he is getting paid by the state of Florida. A lot lawyer talkingheads on TV don’t have a clue. The state might pay but there’s no confirmation they are at this moment.
Looking further, it appears that the Watch is being overseen by the Sanford PD. I has thought the development was running it. Whoever was running it is going to be sued by Trayvon's parents.

snarkytart, good grief. Never did I mean that to discourage donations. Esp if he has a website solicting donations. I should have gone further with that post. I thank you for catching it and repairing any damage I might have done.
