Don’t tell me that the prosecutors have hired those GSA clowns and “mind readers”.
There is nothing illegal about profiling, even racial profiling.
Why would such a thing make it into the indictment?
Ha! I think you are correct.
Of course, he profiled him. If it was an elderly couple walking their doggie they would be profiled, too, and left alone. Profiling is an efficient way distinguish possible thugs/terrorists. Eff political correctness.
I believe private citizens are still allowed to “profile”; if not, someday soon it’ll be possible to arrest people who don’t want to date short people or fat people. After all, isn’t that just an example of profiling?
Just laying the groundwork for a federal double-jeopardy, oops excuse me, civil rights case.
Actually, the 911 operator asked what color ol’ Trayvon was I believe. That would make the 911 operator the profiler, not Zimmerman.
I guess we’re just supposed to take the headline and first sentence on faith, because there’s nothing in the article that supports it.
What’s wrong with profiling. I dont see any issue with profiling anyone. My sister dropped off some friends at LAX this morning, she was driving a Range Rover, security asked her to open all the doors so they could search inside, when she asked why they said that SUV’s can be used to carry explosives so they just wanted to check. Maybe someone should call Sharpton and ask him to represent my sister’s car, since it is black LOL
>> Why would such a thing make it into the indictment?
Because of the way 2nd degree murder is defined in FL law.
The prosecution needs to prove that Zimmerman acted with a “depraved mind”. If he didn’t then it’s not murder 2, it’s at most manslaughter.
This is the same reason the bitc... uh, excuse me, the prosecutrix claims he said “f****** punks” — a claim which is contradicted by all of the audio evidence, raw and enhanced.
But if she doesn’t throw things like this and that into the affidavit, a murder 2 charge is unsupportable.
Suppose someone blindfolded you and drove you to an unknown neighborhood late at night.
Would you feel slightly more fearful to discover to see you’ve been dropped off in a neighborhood of young black males?
Yep, Trayvon looked suspicious so George called the police. If that is profiling, so be it. People are profiled all the time.
It was too nasty out to know the race of the hooded person right away.
...and I HATE the headlines where they call George Zimmerman only by his last name, but the “little Skittles angel” is called by his full name.
why would a Latino profile a black man?
But he called 911 because he spotted Trayvon. My point is that we all profile everyday in every encounter with a stranger. It is necessary for survival.
>> That would make the 911 operator the profiler, not Zimmerman.
Yep. Keep in mind, regardless of what the race-whor... uh, excuse me, the prosecutrix CLAIMS in her stinkin’ affidavit, she still has to PROVE it in court. PROVE — not merely SUGGEST.
Even a mediocre public defender would find plenty to work with in Zimmerman’s defense.
And from what I hear, Zimmerman’s attorney is pretty good.
Happened to watch ‘The Talk’ today (my sister watches it) and the lesbian from the old ‘Roseann’ show said that Zimmerman shot Trayvon “3 TIMES”. And “how can you accidently shoot a kid 3 times?”
Where did this rumor/fact come from?? No one challenged her either....
