THAT is a distinction without a difference.
If she had a miscarriage why didn’t she call 911 for help?
What an ignorant headline.
So a trip down the birth canal where the little guy or girl remains alive for a while = infant...and a trip down the birth canal where his or her life is interrupted limb by limb ripped-apart = doesn't = a baby?
This culture is more fourth-world & superstitious than I thought. Presto! Magical! You now have personhood conferred upon you by the media!!!
And what are these media sources conveying to parents of miscarried babies?
That nobody -- no baby -- was really there?
WAIT! a fetus is just tissue, RIGHT? How could they mistake “tissue” for an INFANT! Are they blind? I mean, those “things” they abort are just “blobs” of tissue, right? I'm confused. Does the doctor pull out the “tissue” and exclaim... OMG IT'S A BABY! Sadly, no. They just pull off the little arms and legs and sell the more important parts. Then they throw the rest into the yard for the dog!
(Ok, the dog reference was for effect and to connect with the article, BUT aborted babies have, in at least one case, been just thrown up on the roof, to discard them. No dogs, just birds and rodents.
Making you sick? Good. Now, DO SOMETHING TO STOP ABORTION.
Stupid deputies, can't they tell a fetus from an infant?
Never mind then.
If they are looking for a 'mother' there must have been a baby.
These are the sins of our culture that will lead to the destruction of America, at the hands of an Obama 2nd term.
We have abused our liberty and now will lose it.
What’s the difference between a fetus and a baby? Answer is there isn’t one.
The article says she had a miscarriage - not an abortion.
My daughter is pregnant and subscribed me to a weekly update on growth progress. 24 weeks says: [sic] “just over a pound and almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn)”
What do you do if you have a miscarriage at home? Apparently, she buried the “fetus” and did not do a great job of it. Do you put the body in the garbage, wrap it and take it to your doctor, to a hospital or police station? Not clear on the protocol.
If you continued to bleed, I would guess you would need a D&C to repair your uterus lining, but if you didn’t need one, you might not go to the hospital.
I think, because of their advocacy, folks are jumping to conclusions not evident in the article.
