An artist in Denver has turned an infamous 2005 mug shot of George Zimmerman into a piece of pop art.
Andy Bell, 31, used 12,250 Skittles to create a 3-by-4-foot portrait of Zimmerman...
"It became family puzzle night," he told the Post...
Katherine Sredl, an assistant professor of marketing at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business... she said. "Skittles have always symbolized youth and innocence."

The artist claims he's open minded on the case but using the "mug shot" with the "innocence" of the Skittles seems to contradict that.
Do they make white Skittles?
Another “contributor” to mankind
why?
why?
I didn’t know they make black skittles.
Oh isn’t that pwecious.
This is just stupid. If they were going for symbolism (which is the left’s variation on rational thought) they would have made the depiction that of what’s his name, not Zimmerman.
I’m glad someone found a use for Skittles.
PROPOGANDA_PING!
The air is thin up there Travis, it takes a while for them to catch on.
FREE JORGE ZIMMERHOMBRE!!!
... and from a purported marketing educator, no less.
If she had a clue, she’d have done a pro bono fifteen second ad spot for Skittles with an image of Trayvon Martin forming out of them, with maybe an animated Skittle shedding a tear.
Not to give anyone any ideas since I detest the whole, deranged racial three ring circus surrounding the matter, but *that’s* how you capitalize on current events in advertising.
"Skittles" is drug-slang for dextromethorphan.
He should have made it out of these:
“Katherine Sredl, an assistant professor of marketing at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, told the AP that companies should keep a healthy distance from the controversies.
“In the case of Skittles, ithey’re so brightly colored and almost pure sugar,’ she said. ‘Skittles have always symbolized youth and innocence.’”
Methinks Kathy’s been popping the OTHER Skittles...
If i have time today, i’m going to make a graph of
black crime in America out of Boston Baked Beans.
Now that’s some talent right there! /barf
