Women Hoodwinked By the Democrat Spin Machine

I’m a bit disappointed that some of my fellow women have bitten the bait thrown to them by Democratic operatives promoting a so-called “Republican war on women.” I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised, considering all the misinformation being shot in our direction by those who will do anything, hell or high water, to promote their cause.

This whole war on women thing is contrived, by the way. It didn’t exist until a couple of months ago when Democrats most likely realized they needed to do something to regain the female vote. And the next thing we knew, a GOP “war on women” was birthed.

The GOP has never been against birth control. A Republican party standing against contraceptives would be the DNC’s biggest nightmare --because America would be overrun with future conservatives. Pity the thought!

Moreover, a respectable Democrat recently confirmed the “war on women” was made up. During the O’Reilly Factor on April 6, Democrat news analyst Juan Williams described it as “phony” and said, “I mean, you couldn’t make anything up better than the Democrats have done to try to fool women.”

Without a doubt, this con on women was created to distract us from seeing the truth: The Obama administration’s economic policies have caused women to lose ground previously won by women under administrations from both parties. Here’s why:

Information from a July 2011 Pew poll based on Bureau of Labor Statistics data casts Obama’s economic policies in a rather chauvinistic light, considering men have fared much better than women under his leadership. From June 2009 through May 2011, men gained 768,000 jobs and lowered their unemployment rate 1.1 percent, while women lost 218,000 jobs, and their unemployment rate rose by 0.2 percent.

The study found the recovery has “favored men over women in all but one of the 16 major sectors of the economy.” In five sectors, women lost jobs while men gained them. In other sectors, men gained jobs at a faster rate than women and lost them at a slower rate than women. State government was the only sector favoring women.

According to the poll, Obama broke a 42-year record: “The recovery from the Great Recession is the first since 1970 in which women have lost jobs even as men have gained them.” Obama did promise to be a different kind of president.

With Democrats in control for the first two years of Obama’s presidency, all the hype would make one believe women would be advancing across the economic battlefield with boldness. But, just like in war, when your leadership is run by “girlie men,” things don’t end well.

In short, the record-breaking debt racked-up by the Democrat-controlled Congress in Obama's first two years, coupled with job-killing policy upon job-killing policy has hurt us all, and especially women. The exorbitant debt placed upon the backs of America's children and those yet-to-be born is inexcusable. Women in general and single moms in particular, are struggling to get by. The lack of jobs coupled with the outrageous gas and food prices have forced many women to barely survive – even with government assistance. There is no excuse for what has been done.

Although a recent Pew gender gap poll shows women support Obama over the proven job creator Mitt Romney by 20 percent, it’s only temporary. Women are smart enough to figure out there is a job-creating political party that will help them rise above the bondage of a party using them as pawns in their political chess game.

I tried and tried to get my Lib women friends to see the truth. I would point out, during the Clinton mess, that EVERY WOMAN to accuse him was a DEMOCRAT. They didn’t care. One of my (former) friends even went so far as to admit that she would sleep with Clinton if she had the chance. That is one of the reasons she is a former friend.

power + money = "love."

period. completely unrelated to political affiliation, although the touchy-feely party is definitely a weakness.

While that is 100% true, don't forget that the ultimate catch is a “good guy” that LOOKS like a “bad boy”.
