Justice for Trayvon...and Only Trayvon
American Thinker ^ | April 15, 2012 | Paul Jacobson

Posted on 04/15/2012 1:38:27 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Justice for Trayvon by Charles M. Blow, columnist for the New York Times (where else?). The tears begin with the opening paragraph:

"A boy's blood had been spilled on a rain-soaked patch of grass behind a row of mustard-colored condominiums by a man who had pursued him against the advice of 911 dispatchers. That man carried a 9-millimeter handgun. The boy carried a bag of candy."

The cascade of lacromosity quickly turns into a tsunami:

Americans saw the anguish of the boy's father and the tears of his mother. America saw a child who was its own. America saw its concept of basic fairness sinking in to the marsh of miscarried justice.

What Blow is really demanding is not justice at all but "social justice" (hereinafter called socialjusticeism), an utterly bogus leftist propaganda term that turns the authentic, historic definition of justice on its head: socialjusticeism is not justice for anybody, accused or accusers; it is injustice for all those whom the left hates. Nor should anybody be decoyed by Blow's brusque, phony feint at genuine justice: "The state will vigorously prosecute, and Zimmerman will be vigorously defended as is his constitutional right."

Charles Blow is obviously certain beyond any doubt, reasonable or otherwise, that George Zimmerman brutally gunned down Trayvon Martin out of racist malice. So are the Black Panther goons who have put a million-dollar lynch mob bounty on Zimmerman's head. A trial has not yet been concluded, so I don't know if Zimmerman is guilty or not; therefore, I have nothing to say about his guilt....

Hello Morpheus2009, You said “My question is, what the heck was Trayvon’s father doing, much less thinking?”

I agree with you 100%. The parents dropped the parenting ball. If anyone is to blame for the death of their son the Father is. Why was he not supervised? They should be charged with child endangerment. Actually, they endangered the public with their delinquent youth.

Again, it’s probably the biggest issue of it all. Had his father bothered giving him ounces of the “be a man” talk my father gave me, Martin would likely still be alive. Failure to discipline Martin endangered pretty much everyone, including Martin himself. If it wasn’t Zimmerman, do you honestly think a street thug would be so merciful to Trayvon. Seriously, that’s the part that bothers me the most, there was failed discipline on his part, and what’s even more sad is how many kids get into the hotshot attitude that gets them into getting fragged by a gangster on the street, yet the press doesn’t bat an eye. Trayvon wasn’t the only one of his kind out there, it was just a case where they could make it an issue of race. However, numerous kids like Martin, arrogant, throwing hissy fits, and so on, get waxed by some street hustler, and the media doesn’t bat an eye in comparison to this case. Again, it’s a diversion from how the political system is doing on really helping the economy more than anything else. In addition to covering up how Martin’s dad was clueless about his son being in trouble for shoplifting and a school suspension related to violent activity.

Turn in all firearms registered to you and/ or in your possession by October 31, 2012 or you will face 25 years in a federal prison for non-compliance with martial law.

I might face 25 minutes left in my life but it won't be because I turned in my guns.

Oh yes, no doubt, me too.

But what if the person who wants to take your guns away knows this and devises a way to force you to give them away or face federal prosecution?

They aren’t going to come to you, they will make you go to them, and they will be ready.

Furthermore, I love my guns, and everyone I know loves their guns and for good reason. However, none of our weaponry compares in any way shape or form to what they could unleash on us via the military.

It reminds me of the old they can’t kill all of us response, but yes they can, and easily.

I imagine it would only take a few Cobra gunships firing HEP rounds to convince anyone with a firearm to put it down and run away as fast as they can.

It’s bigger than that, the hatred is also internalized, as evidenced by blacks being commonly killed by other blacks. In fact, the reason why the Trayvon Martin case was brought up is precisely because it was the exception, and not the rule. Are there loads of kids like Trayvon Martin with inept parents who behave recklessly to get killed by a thug? You bet there are, but then again, since those kids like Trayvon aren’t usually killings by a person of another race, they don’t want to report the incident, because it beats their propaganda of the threat of racism.

I am amazed that people still think so highly about Planned Parenthood when its’ founder, Margaret Sanger, explicitly said that she wanted the black race to dwindle to extinction through infertility, disease, and abortion. Even more sad is the race-selective nature of abortion in America.

But then again, where are those who try to fight it, you can find them making their attempts in the churches sooner than you will likely find them in D.C.

Much easier said than done.

I expect we will see soon enough, because it is definitely coming.

You know I often think of this myself, I’ll kill anyone who comes for my guns.

But will I?

What if they don’t come? What if they make me go to a military base and turn in my weapons to armed soldiers?

What if they do come, and I shoot the first and second guy at the door?

Then either I will be shot and killed, or I’ll be arrested and charged with murder.

So, once that happens, who will provide care for my handicapped mom who cannot provide care for herself?

Obama?

Who is going to feed my dog?

What am I going to do when they empty my bank account prosecuting me assuming that they let me live?

What will we all do when the government offers financial rewards to those who turn in non-compliant firearm owners?

Totalitarian regimes turn family member against family member much less neighbor against neighbor.

Our side has shown no inclination whatsoever that it is capable of understanding much less handling the schemes of the left, and it’s not going to.

Obama could come out tomorrow morning with I’m suspending the 2nd amendment, and NO ONE in the GOP would do a damn thing about it, especially BONER. The SCOTUS could call it unconstitiutional, and they will be ignored.

We are on the edge of terrible, terrible times USS Alaska, I mean we are right here right now.

Have you forgotten? God pawns anything with mere thought. He doesn’t always solve problems instantly, and Job is a good example of that, but he won’t let belief in him be totally destroyed, and should his anger and injustice against him or those that valiantly believe in him be strongly kindled enough, he will be just, and possibly, like St. Paul, give people the good message to just change sides and quit being an annoyance to him. I won’t say that I will, but my allegiance is to the Constitution as pertaining especially to the Bill of Rights, and I pray that I don’t have to see the day where my government puts me on the spot to choose between going against the Constitution as it was written, or even choose between God’s laws and the laws of the land, but if the choice is made, I have the decision, and I emphasize the decision, to choose God, and face the consequences, whatever they may be.

If you don’t believe in him, that’s fine, that’s your conscience. If you do, A second thought as to what God can do might not be such a bad idea. If you believe in him, Remember that he loves you, and just about every human being on the planet. No he also won’t let any government or any other power determine where you belong in the life afterwards, and he can intervene, he won’t let freedoms or the good in this world ever be totally wiped out. I leave this thoughts and pray that you may find peace.

Well, that is a very interesting point you bring up, Morpheus.

I believe in Jesus Christ.

And I also agree with your conclusion on decisions being forced.

However I want to point out this.

This situation has become so dire that we as a people have essentially no other choice but to believe in intervention by an outside, unknown force, because the evil that we face from our own kind is too great for us to overcome without such intervention.

Hope is the stratgey of those without the means to change their current circumstance, and that is us.

It bothers me to know that we must hope for a force greater than us, and I mean greater in goodness, to defeat the evil that is in us and that we are inflicting upon ourselves.

I’m not sure why it bothers me, because I have always been taught and have known that man is imperfect. In fact, imperfect is a bit too kind of a word to use. As far as I can see mankind is not to be trusted. At all.

So here I am, praying that the mercy of my Lord will save us from ourselves -again-.

I really hope this prayer gets answered, because if not, there is nothing else...we literally do not know, nor do we have the slightest clue has a people what the word justice even means any longer. That word has been corrupted by mankind, and that is just the very tip of the iceberg upon which we are now riding.

One critical problem has gone unmentioned.

Almost every top tier criminal defense lawyer in America is an incorrigible Hard Left Democrat.

Zimmerman needs a lawyer who passionately supports the right to carry a concealed gun, supports the right to protect yourself and your property, and supports the right to rationally profile those individuals who may be a threat to you or others.

Instead, Zimmerman's new attorney is leaking stories that Zimm cries himself to sleep at night, and that Zimm wishes he had some way to apologize to Martin's parents.

Pathetic.

Zimm’s new lawyer probably doesn't even know that the Conservative Blogosphere exists.

Last week, Zimm’s new lawyer asked the judge to keep all the evidence sealed for an unspecified period of time.

Zimm’s lawyer has no idea that EVERY serious counter punch in this case has been thrown by the Con Blogs.

All the best maps, all the best time lines, all the best questions about witnesses come straight from the Con Blogs.

Zimm’s lawyer could have 5,000 sets of passionate Conservative eyes on the evidence at this moment.

Instead, for weeks into the future, Zimmerman and his case will have to drink the MSM political poison, drip by filthy drip.

Great film clip, woody.

I saw the first minute or so of that rousing monologue live on CNN, then they cut away.

After that, all the cable news networks went berserk over Zimm “firing” his lawyers, so I turned off the TV.

I believe you have indeed located a criminal defense attorney who does NOT vote for Democrats.

And ZIMMERMAN fired him!

At least he told us that the condominiums were “mustard-colored,” but is that bright yellow mustard, Spicy Brown mustard, Dijon mustard, natural grainy mustard? What’s wrong with journalists these days, anyway?

I don't know who he votes for, but if I ever need a criminal lawyer -- I'm calling HIM!

This guy is good!

Why would Zimmerman fire him?

Don’t worry Chris, I can’t say that I haven’t felt some frustration myself either. But then again, what are friends and discussions for.

Either way, looking back at history, sometimes it takes a lot for good to prevail, but it is nonetheless doable. After a while I rethought what and why I was fearing something more than I had to, and then I realized, well, if God is all-powerful, he certainly does have a plan.
