And the Un-Masking of Mitt Romney, the left-wing, Progressive Liberal, continues . . .
"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

Oh, but that was months ago! You're not going to try to hold a feller to what he said months ago, are you?

I hope no sarcasm tag is needed...Bump this sucker to The Top.

No doubt Romney is trying to split the baby in this interview. He has changed his stance since then. Newt supports amnesty overtly today.

The position should be no amnesty, which should be defined as not allowing those who entered illegally to stay and work here. No registration or getting to the back of the line on an earned path to citizenship. The line begins back in their home country.

This interview was took place on December 16, 2007.

Say, why don't you post a thread like this for a change, you win hearts and minds by advancing, giving optimism, something to root FOR, not demonizing:

At least by the time some people get tired of ranting and decide to work on making the best of a somewhat repulsive situation; there will be no way Obama can go to the left of Romney and still have an election.

The left didn’t get here in one election. We have helped for years by neglecting our representatives. Start at your local elections and continue to change the environment. It took the left over 1000 years to own the media and the schools, but now our backs are against the wall and one election won’t fix it.

If a second Republican administration brings about another amnesty for illegal immigrants, then the Republicans deserve their fate: being out-voted into oblivion by a population used to getting government handouts and who have no history of being concerned about our laws.

With Rick Santorum’s recent departure from the 2012 presidential sweepstakes, the Republican establishment — aided and abetted by self-identified “conservative” voters — has just ensured the re-election of Barack Obama.

That’s a view widely held by real conservatives, not just my own view.

The GOP now fields one of the most disliked, ruthlessly ambitious, untruthful, problematic candidates for president in recent memory. Never before in modern history has a Republican presidential candidate been so overtly manipulative of the political process, or of the public mind, than Mitt Romney. (You’d have to revisit Obama’s media-driven, illusion-based 2008 Democratic candidacy to see something comparable). As a result, rarely has the Republican base been left with so unpopular a choice.

This is a great article.

Is the idea here to suppress turnout so that Obama is re-elected, then dance around in self-congratulatory glee, reveling in your own brilliance?

I was for Palin, then Bachmann, then Perry, then Cain, then Santorum. So we end up with Romney. Please don’t tell me there is no difference in who Romney & Obama would nominate for SCOTUS.
