ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- The judge presiding over the Trayvon Martin shooting case has removed herself after George Zimmerman's attorney said she had a possible conflict of interest.

Florida Circuit Judge Jessica Recksiedler recused herself Wednesday because of a potential conflict that relates to her husband.

Wonder who the last judge who can’t recuse him/herself will be?

Getting as far away from this staged lynching as she can.

I don’t blame her, this thing stinks worse than the alligator bait on Swamp People.

Spent last evening with a number of former Orange and Seminole County judges, as well as current and former LEOs. No one expected a recusal this fast. Shows how much she wanted off the case.

NO ONE wants this case. The filed information (not a True Bill) has holes a mile wide and any adverse ruling re: prosecution will certainly result in riots, etc.

Waaaay too hot a potato!

You got it! And I heard Judge Ito's court is going to be downsized too!

I obviously misspoke in my earlier post. I should have said "I wonder who the first judge who can't recuse himself/herself will be?"

I’m thinking Hussein/Holder want a more thug-friendly judge and made a phone call using GZ’s motion as cover.

Judge Greer couldn’t bring himself to recuse himself....

Somebody who's too young to see the danger or too old to give a damn.

So we have an entire system of justice afraid to follow the law...while we have a gaggle of people demanding new statutes to cover...thoughtcrimes. George Orwell call your literary agent!

We may all differ on Ms Ann Coulter...her book came out over a year ago and I admit to being puzzled by her choice of topics. In the present day and especially in this case the title and the threat are quite clear:

It would have been much better if Angela Corey had just admitted they have no case instead of trying to calm down these Sharpoton riled people by tossing Zimmerman to the wolves.

Now she has a tiger by the tail, and no one wants to help her hold it.

File under - You know you are getting old when...

Happened to me about twenty years ago.

So the bond hearing set for Friday for Zimmerman’s release is delayed?

The replacement judge appointment is almost instantaneous. (it was probably already a done deal)

Zimmerman has only to worry if some senile old mandatory retired judge is appointed. The FLSC wants to INCREASE the age of the mandatory retirement. Given how outright senile some of these judges can be, the FLSC should be LOWERING the mandatory retirement age.

I thought the idea of demonic’ was over the top too... not so much now. What they’re doing to Zimmerman is totalitarian. They’re going after him for political reasons - it’s like we’re living in the old USSR.

Quite a shame. I hate these court cases turned into reality TV thing we’ve been doing the last couple decades, but this Jessica Recksiedler judge might would have at least made it worth watching a few minutes now and again just to see her.

If the new judge is some dude or ugly old bag, I won’t even watch of a second of this trial. Unfortunately, I am sure it is going to dominate the cable news shows for months on end. Greta will probably do nothing but nightly shows on this case.
