ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) President Barack Obama said Wednesday that his Republican rivals are sincere, patriotic and absolutely wrong about how to reinvigorate the economy.
He said they "don't seem to remember how America was built."

Well, those “some” should read “The Light and the Glory”, by Peter Marshall and David Manuel. Then they should read “Battle hymn...the Sinister New World Order”, by Phillips and Scouris!
Those “some” will see what we were given only to grieve for what is to be taken away! Fools!
I was very pleased to see the comments I saw. It could have been FReepers or TownHallers.
The intensity is on the anti-Obama side and the way he keeps shooting off his mouth in increasingly ridiculous ways, the more that intensity will build.
Oh Good Heavens. This man is beyond belief.
He's right you know, lots of Repubs (pretty much all of them) and all the Dems in Congress forget that America was built on Hard Work and not Gub'ment Handouts to keep politiclowns in office.
More marxist propaganda - I was never hired by a poor person from the bottom.
America sure wan’t built by marxists!
America was built with HARD WORK, NOT government handouts.
America is built on profits and wages.
When there are no profits there will be no wages and nothing will be built, re-built, or maintained.
DO NOT MAKE IT MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT IS.
As if he ever knew.
America is built on profits and wages.
When there are no profits there will be no wages and nothing will be built, re-built, or maintained.
DO NOT MAKE IT MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT IS.
America was built by people who led hard lives and worked themselves to death. Not by lazy “poor” people with $100/month cell phone plans and cars, and not by “faux-capitalists” who are begging for a gummint handout for their green energy schemes and battery-powered cars. It was built by people who would have tarred and feathered a radical Community Organizer who told people that its the government’s job to take care of some of them at the expense of the others.
Capitalism is built on profits and wages.
England and America are not fundamentally different because of profit and wages.
America was built as a nation based upon the, up until that time, UNIQUE governing principles of the natural rights of man, the sovereignty of the individual, and a government of limited and enumerated powers.
America was not built by a central government on the back of taxpayers and citizens. This Marxist must go!
That’s right. America was built by a bunch of lazy layabouts sitting on their arses, waiting for their government checks. That is the America Obama is creating. Seriously. I see it all around me.
IOW, he'd finally have an honest job, for once in his life.
Bump
No reason to believe that Pail would have imploded as Perry did. Perry is a good pool, but he never shone as a debater or as a public speaker. In the gubernatorial TV debates in 2006, she did quite well. When she appeared on Charlie Rose, she did reasonably well. Hard to imagine that she wouldnt have done as well in the debates as Bachman. So where is this coming from. Well, snobbery: the same kind of snobbery that kept Thomas Jefferson from appreciating Senator Andrew Jackson back in the 1790s, the same kind of snobbery that the Kennedys exhibited toward LBJ and —believe it or not, toward Ike and Mamie.
That’s what I thought. My reply to that is if the limited amount of black manual labor used in the building of America is the primary factor, then we are doing a disservice by overlooking the contribution made by our brethren of the equine species, just to name one. Blacks didn’t think up the comcepts, blueprints, or contribute to the engineering or lead the way in the life-risking explorations which paved the way for our expansions. Neither did the horses.
America was built with $5 trillion debt.
So now we have a foreign-born, Black Power driven Marxist lecturing us on the history of the US?
I wonder how you say FUBO in his language, whatever it may be.
