Matthews: Will Voters Be Reluctant To Dump The First Black President? (video)

On Thursday's broadcast of "Hardball," host Chris Matthews discussed a path to victory for a second Obama term: being afraid to kick out the black guy.

Matthews wondered if there would be "a reluctance on the part of the voters and the political community" about "dumping the first African-American president."

Chris Matthews: "Let me ask you about something which is not in the polling, but I want you as experts -- Barack Obama is the first African-American president, okay. Is there going to be a reluctance on the part of the voters and the political community that talks politics as we get into November about dumping the first African-American president? Is there going to be something that just wretches people? 'Wait a minute here, this guy is going to knock out the first guy who got aboard?"

I pray that he not only loses....but it is by a LANDSLIDE! I’m sorry that we missed our golden opportunity to put a true conservative in, but I can not let another year go by and listen to O give more lie filled speeches. I just can’t take it anymore.

With enthusiasm, Prissy, with enthusiasm.

Considering his performance, the question should be: “Is this the last BLACK President we’ll see for quite sometime?”

I can help here.

DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT!!! There is a pile of political bodies of black politicians (SS: it’s an expression, I only wish to see this president defeated in November) that were sent into power by a non-black voters. In nearly all cases they were unqualified, corrupt, or both.

And in nearly all cases the voters VOTED THEM OUT at their first chance - and not only that, have not yet voted another black in (except in black majority cities). This was the case for Los Angeles, New York City, Seattle, Chicago, Houston, Illinois (i.e., Senator Carol Mostly-Braun), and probably a lot of other cities.

The voters, probably in all cases, were voting for a ‘healer’ and wound up with a ‘divider’.

I think we all which category President Obama fits into. Had he tried to pull the country together racially, he might really have had a shot at re-election (even with the lousy economy) - but he simply isn’t capable of it.

Not in the least!
I refuse to do videos, but I can comment on the general idea.

America, where ANYONE, no matter how humble, can become president, and has. No matter how ignorant and arrogant either.

Well, the political ad absurdum has come and gone, and we can move on to salvage what's left from the debris of what was once the greatest country on earth.
Some experiments are only useful by way of example, of the excesses of wanting to feel good; to be liked and not be criticized.

It will be a long long long long long time before that mistake can be repeated.

We already know most of the black vote is ready to go over a cliff for him.

Again.

...but not all of it...

It's this simple,Chrissy:in 2008 we judged him not by the color of his skin but for what we *hoped* was the content of his character and the extent of his abilities...in November,we'll be judging him not for the color of his skin but because of what we now know to be the content of his character, [the empty excellence of his Bullshit*,] and the extent of his abilities.

There.
Fixed it for you.

*BULLSHIT

"The essence of bullshit is getting away with it, with persuading listeners or readers of a sincerity that is, by definition, phoney. The bullshit artist simply does not care about truth: “He pays no attention to it at all,” writes Professor Frankfurt. “By virtue of this, bullshit is a greater enemy of truth than lies are.”
