I love Beck’s description of Obama this morning: “A Communist who eats dogs.”

Saw it on another post — Rasmussen has Newt Gingrich within 7 points of Obama.

That means he is breathing down Romney’s neck, and the MSM isn’t telling us!

Oh, I’m not into flaming anyone. But there is 4 more months until the convention in Tampa, and in politics that can equal a lifetime.

Newt isn’t out of this race yet, no matter how much Romney, who is a Fascist, would prefer.

See my post at #25; there is a reason why the MSM is silent about poll numbers and are ignoring Newt.

It's not the same country anyone over 40 grew up in...

You ought to see what America looks like to those of us who are pushing 60 or better!

It’s over...Romney is going to be the nominee. Conservatives who refuse to vote for him in November out of spite might as well vote for Obama. The end result is the same. As much as I’m not a fan of Mitt, I’ll take him in a heartbeat over our Marxist in Chief.

Sure, many are angry he’s going to be the nominee, but I view it as more of a failing of the other candidates. They had their chance and failed; plain and simple. They have no one to blame but themselves. For whatever reason they didn’t connect with the base, too many skeletons, inept campaigns. Perhaps we will get a better lot of potentials next time around.

Bitching only gets us so far, before common sense - pragmatism - needs to take over. I can choose to be 10 years old or I can work to defeat the most radical President in U.S. history. It’s not rocket science.

Can you explain how losing decisively to an opponent he will never get the chance to face is good news?

You’ve only been here since mid-February. Your ignorance of politics is appalling.

Pay attention! The nomination process isn’t over. The nominating convention in Tampa is 4-months away, and anything can and will happen in that length of time.

Romney is a Fascist (a self-professed national socialist), the MSM aren’t reporting all the facts, and the majority of people I talk to do not like Romney, period.

As to losing to Obama - THAT election is 7-months away, and in politics that can be a lifetime.

This political race is just getting started.

Understand NOW!

Obama is a smart hustler..in destroying American jobs, he's succeeded.
and a good speaker..Not necessarily; esp. w/o a teleprompter.. he lies very well.
he’s Got the Unions behind him..yhea..all the Marxist Unions
the American Black Community..he's an avowed RACIST.
and a Billion dollar war chest..his efforts are lagging; but he does have
Liberal Media to cover/lying for him.
thumping all...the economy.. the economy.. the economy...
and the American people know it.

It’s not over, as much as you would like it to be. Just about the only way Obama can win again is if we run Romney, and I think a lot of people realize that.

One of the chief factors in a candidate’s success is his likeability, and believe it or not, Obama scores high in that area, even in very recent surveys. I find him completely wierd and unlikeable, but apparently I’m the exception.

Romney, however, gets a very low likeability score. People seem to find him artificial, untrustworthy and arrogant, all of which is true. This means, particularly since his positions are virtually the same as Obama’s, that people won’t be voting for him, especially people in that sought after “undecided middle” group who vote impusively and on the basis of emotion.

I still say if he is low enough in the polls, Hillary will be he VP on the ticket with him.

Nobama would never put Hitlery on the ticket with him. He knows he would be assassinated if he did so.

Only to people who haven't two functioning brain cells to rub together.

Considering the amount of people that put this guy in office... yes, we have an uphill battle to fight.

Romney’s flaws...there are plenty... but come campaign time we need to stop tearing down mittens....IF he wins four years, we can always throw his ass out.

When we resort to name-calling and anger we are NO better than the progressives who have no argument but to blame, bait and name-call. Seriously is it really important to call out someone who has only been here a short-time? Are we now claiming entitlements based on how long we have been here? This should be a forum for realistic and rational debate.
That being said...
It is TRUE the nomination process is NOT over.
It is TRUE Newt is still in the process.
It is Illogical to believe that Newt can mount enough momentum to overcome Mitt or stop his nomination. I don’t even know if it is a mathematical possibility, but even if it were there would have to be a momentous shift in the remaining electorate. For Newt I just don’t see this happening.
I don’t like Mitt...I voted for Newt in my primary. I could (like many here) list all the reasons NOT to vote for Mitt. However, I dislike the current administration more than I dislike Mitt.
The mission is now change the occupancy of the White House. We must get behind that mission and stop the “WE HATE MITT” banners. Two months ago that was fine, but not now. The anti-mitt rehetoric, at this point, makes no sense unless you are trying to convince people to not vote for Mitt at the expense of losing more of our freedom by allowing the current President to stay.

You can throw out comparisons to earlier elections because the corruption of the election process, I believe, is much deeper and broader than even WE suspect.
