Dershowitz is Jewish and a Zionist. Sharpton et al are outspoken and unrepentant anti-Semites, responsible for a number of Jewish people’s deaths. If there is a pro-Israel or Jewish safety angle to an issue, Dershowitz turns up on the right side.

Looks like this whole prosecution is to give the FL political class cover. If the preliminary ruling finds Zimmerman shot Treyvon in self-defense or a jury finds him not guilty Gov. Scott and this prosecutor can say hey we tried him so don’t blame us.

...Dershowitz continued, An affidavit that willfully misstates undisputed evidence known to the prosecution is not only unethical but borders on perjury because an affiant swears to tell not only the truth, but the whole truth... It's scary, but I'm becoming a Dersowitz fan...

The fix ix in...both in Florida and at the US Department of Just Us.I fear that the best that Zimmerman can hope for in his state *or* Federal trial is a hung jury. There's *no* way any jury picked by prosecutors who are desperate to convict him will ever acquit.

Mr. Dershowitz is interviewed time and again by CNN and similar news outlets. I’ll be waiting to see him on any of the alphabet channels to say this for all to hear...

This is not a 2nd degree murder case, this is a let's try to appease the dumbass haters and racist pimps so they won't riot! That's all this case is, and we all know it!
What is good about America is the sacred bravado, the showing of this cowardice is overwhelming!

Right now, our society is "waist deep in the big muddy" as they say -- but many people have no awareness.
Years from now, people will look back at us and be amazed as the general level of ignorance. It will be quite a lot like asking a German in 1946 -- "You're claiming that you knew nothing about the holocaust?? How could you NOT know??"
Obama's birth certificate, fast and furious, the false economic data, the blatant racial politics of the Zimmerman case ... We're living in 1943 Germany and a good number of voters are smiling and laughing and saying that we're lucky to have such a benevolent leader.
But although it may be 1943 today, it will eventually be 1946, and when people of the future ask "How could you NOT know?" they will be harsh and judgmental of America 2012.

Ummmm, the prosecutors do not pick the jury.

I wonder if there are lesser included charges. That was the problem with the Casey Anthony trial, the prosecution went for it all with no lesser charges for them to consider. The problem was their prosecution was so lame. Do you think that this prosecutor went to school on that and realized aiming too high would be the political way out?

Made the comment to my wife the other day that the persecution (not prosecution) of Zimmerman is not a miscarriage of justice because there is no justice involved. It is simply a miscarriage - period.

Don’t get too hopeful about because a clock is correct twice a day. If he continues to make more sensible statements on various issues of the day then we can be encouraged.

This whole Zimmerman/Martin fiasco is a farce. It’s not about somebody getting shot. It’s about politics, race pimps, money and gun control. Anyone who believes otherwise is a freakin’ idiot.

Ummmm, the prosecutors do not pick the jury. Not directly, anyway.
You're dealing with Florida.
To: diogenes ghost
Ummmm, the prosecutors do not pick the jury. I understand that the prosecution isn't *solely* responsible for jury selection but they have a big say in the matter.

I wonder if there are lesser included charges. I just don't see any evidence to prove that this was anything but self defense. I would hate to see a jury settle for a lesser offense just to appease the gods of racial divisiveness.
