Sometimes, there is no good solution except to keep going and doing right by your principles and trusting in God.

I don't get to pick the outcome. I know the rules I have to live by.

With all due respect, sometimes there is a solution, it just may not be easy. The solution was suggested upthread:

If just 5% (3 million) of the die-hard Conservatives (who reluctantly voted for McCain) convene in beautiful Tampa, Florida chanting "no-Mitt", it would change the course of history. The Republican-e would cave under withering fire.
