Leaked Stratfor Emails: Democrats tampered with 2008 election
Business Insider ^ | 4-20-12 | Michael Kelly

John McCain's 2008 campaign staff allegedly had evidence that Democrats stuffed ballot boxes in Pennsylvania and Ohio on election night, but McCain chose not to pursue voter fraud, according to internal Stratfor emails published by WikiLeaks.

In an email sent on November 7, 2008, and titled " Insight - The Dems & Dirty Tricks ** Internal Use Only - Pls Do Not Forward **," Stratfor vice president of intelligence Fred Burton wrote:

1) The black Dems were caught stuffing the ballot boxes in Philly and Ohio as reported the night of the election and Sen. McCain chose not to fight. The matter is not dead inside the party. It now becomes a matter of sequence now as to how and when to "out".

In an email sent two days earlier and titled "Insight - McCain #5 ** internal use only - Pls do not forward **," Burton wrote:

After discussions with his inner circle, which explains the delay in his speech, McCain decided not to pursue the voter fraud in PA and Ohio, despite his staff's desire to make it an issue. He said no. Staff felt they could get a federal injunction to stop the process. McCain felt the crowds assembled in support of Obama and such would be detrimental to our country and it would do our nation no good for this to drag out like last go around, coupled with the possibility of domestic violence.

Why bother with freaking elections at all, then. Just let mobs of black thugs decide who the president is.

IMHO, McCain never wanted to be elected president in the first place. The GOP needed to run somebody against the messiah and McCain volunteered.

"... McCain was seeking the "highest office in the land" and was going to take an oath to defend the Constitution and we find his campaign had hard EVIDENCE of voter fraud of which he did nothing about?"

you nailed it on that- he wanted the office, yet could not stomach defending the constitution?

waiting instead for the correct POLITCAL moment to release the data???

Now the loser Romney who lost to this LOSER McLame wants the office now?

Let's show him the data now and ask him if he will defend the constitution (Let's ask Newt too)

Didn’t Nixon do the same thing in 1960?

Yep. United States presidential election, 1960. Scroll down to "Controversies."

"...coupled with the possibility of domestic violence.

This keeps up, domestic violence is inevitable.

McCain is what happens when you spend too much time in the Senate. Turns your brain to mush.

but McCain chose not to pursue voter fraud

I've been saying since the minute McRino said we had nothing to fear from Obama that he was pimping for Obama. The entire campaign and election was a set up. The fix was in 4 years ago just like this upcoming election has already been fixed. Something happened during Bush's second term that changed America. Remember how W suddenly changed like an invasion of the body snatchers? No, that's not the tin foil talking.

I believe someone got to him on 15 September 2008, when he went back to DC for that emergency meeting with Congress. He hadn’t already decided to throw the election before, this was when it happened.

For whatever reasons, he gave us zero. He had more than enough ammo to stop this from happening, he could have done the job that the LSM refused to do as part of his campaign.

kicking the can forward allowed everyone to better prepare; allowed the issue to present itself in clear, unspinnable terms.

it was the right thing to do.

What?

Sheesh. . .McLame let this go because he feared riots. . .he was caving in to mob rule.

I guess he is just a trailblazer, after all, because we see mob rule being exercised in Florida with the lynching of Zimmerman.

McCain made exactly the wrong decision.

He's always managed to make the wrong decision when our Freedom was at stake!

"Well, we have this, We have Minnesota with Al Franken, we have Washington State, we have Florida in 2000, hell, we have Texas and Illinois in 1960... and they still claim that we have no indications of voter fraud which would necessitate voter ID."

Don't forget Alaska and Murkowski

Isn’t it amazing...52 years have passed since that election and nothing has changed. Democrat voter fraud is rampant and NOBODY will challenge it. Democrats, socialists, progressives, commies...no matter where you are on the left, the ends justifies the means. There simply is NO honor or integrity with those people, they all lie and cheat to retain power, assault liberty, and make the State all-powerful over the individual.

So McCain, in his wisdom, decided that crooked elections were in our nations best interest and not contesting ‘known election violations’ with evidence was in our best interest. Perhaps obama was the better man. At leastthat bastard fought to win....our candidate folded like a cheap suit just to appear magnanamous. McCain ‘rose above’ the rest of the plebians. Well, screw that...is that what what Romney will do or is he willing only to screw other republicans? If this is what the establishment republicans want I am afraid many of us will say...what is the use?
