Big Money In A Big Way For Obamas Reelection Campaign
By T.W. Farnam April 21
President Obamas reelection campaign has been rapidly increasing the number of big money bundlers collecting checks for his reelection, doubling the number of financiers who have brought in at least $500,000.
The influx during the first quarter of the year shows the president is getting an especially warm embrace from Hollywood and the broader entertainment industry, partly making up for a drop in support from Wall Street after Democrats passed broad new regulations for the financial sector, according to a list of fundraisers released by the campaign on Friday.
The support comes just as Obamas Republican rival, Mitt Romney, is expected to get a fresh boost from donors who held out during the Republican nomination contest. In recent weeks, Romney has also started directing his backers to the Republican National Committee, which by law can accept bigger checks than his campaign.
The Obama campaign has 533 people who have each raised at least $50,000 for his campaign and the Democratic National Committee, including 90 who joined the campaign in the last quarter. The total nearly matches the 558 people who were listed as volunteer fundraisers for the 2008 campaign.
Of this years bundlers, 117 are in the top echelon, raising at least $500,000 each, nearly double the number the campaign reported at the end of the 2011 and more than double the 47 who reached that level in 2008.

“I think there comes a point where you’ve made enough money.”
Counting bundlers and donors is meaningless. The kenyan has essentially unlimited campaign funds. He has the US Treasury and will spend whatever amount is deemed necessary, . In the month or two befor the election his name and face and exhortation will be all one can see and hear on the radio, Television, and internet- on billboards and everywhere. If Soros thinks he needs more he will simply buy up all the media that doesn’t already take its agenda from hem.
Nice to know who to boycott but the stimulous money is being rerouted to his campaign
He is so far behind what he had in 2008 (let alone the ONE BILLION DOLLARS) he will have (oh really?) for this cycle even these guys can’t help Obama. In order to get back on track to what he ran with in 2008 Obama needs a bunch of $3 million days in a row - like 40 or 50- and that’s just to get even.
Believe what you want, but it ain’t happening for Obama and his team of commies.
It`s great to be King. Not only does 0bama own the “media,” but he`ll probably have nearly a $1B in cash at his disposal. I`ve never seen the campaign odds tipped so decidedly in favor of one candidate.
Any money coming in from China? (tongue in cheek)
