Obama strategist sees Republican 'reign of terror' in Congress 10:16am EDT

By Bill Trott

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republicans in the U.S. Congress are under a "reign of terror" imposed by the party's conservative wing that also has pushed presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to the right, President Barack Obama's senior campaign strategist said on Sunday.

David Axelrod, in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" program, cited the Obama administration's plans for immigration reform as an example of Republican intransigence in Congress.

The political process in Washington should not be "monolithic opposition to everything the chief executive wants to do as a political strategy," Axelrod said, adding that an "implacable group of Republicans" had blocked any possibility of immigration reform.

"I think there are a lot of Republicans in Congress who want to cooperate ... but they're in the thralls of this reign of terror from the far right that has dragged the party to the right," he said.

"Governor Romney and the party have gone way off to the right," he added.

The political process in Washington should not be “monolithic opposition to everything the chief executive wants to do as a political strategy,”

*****************************

So where was this huge sack of human excrement when President Bush was set upon by Pelosi and her gang of liberal terrorists?

They complained, moanes, bad mouthed and trashed everything he tried to do. They passed legislation without the approval of the American people, they fight for the death of babies, and they want to make sure women can be as slutty as possible by making us pay for their immorality.

Axelrod is pure evil and he is as talented a liar as his boss. He is just one reason obama must be defeated. Liberals are not the feelgood party they want people to believe they are. They are the party of slavery, hypocrisy, and death. Liberals are terrorists.

Axelrod’s boss is Soros.
Obama’s boss is Axelrod.

If the conservative wing of the GOP is so all powerful, why is Mitt Romney the presumptive nominee of the party?

Ah the hyperbole. War on women, reign of terror. Sounds like desparation in the morning. Love it.

The political process in Washington should not be "monolithic opposition to everything the chief executive wants...

Everything he wants is un-constitutional and/or outright Marxist. You cannot compromise with that sort of evil.

Axelrod should prepare for the worst economic freeze in modern history if Democrats control any of the 3 Legislative Branches of Government. Just look at how anemic construction hiring is this spring.

Such a teaser headline. Seriously...."as if" there are enough Republicans to terrorize the progressive demonrats and rinos.

I think it might make a good children's bedtime story. I know I'd sleep more soundly if it were true.

Is “State of the Onion” still on the air? In fact, is CNN still on the air? We have not watched that coven of the clueless for years. What are their ratings now?

Axelrod has his priorities in line. In a weekend, his backyard slaughters 10, wounds 20. Following week, more killed and wounded. Ditto for the next weekend, ad infinitum in Chicago, the hell hole democrats created. Clearly it is part of axelrod’s ethnic cleansing plans for Chicago, and apparently carries the imprimatur of Jesse and Al, since they don’t voice disapproval.

And a few politicians disagreeing is a reign of terror.

With rhetoric like this the eventual, inevitable crackdown will be simple for the simple minded to accept.

I wonder when someone is going to spill the beans that Axelrod and his parents are/have been committed communists with reported family lineage going back to the personages of Trotsky and Lenin. Question? How was an avid communist housewife in a Moscow dinner party in the 1980s able to tell a USA businessman that an African named Barack Obama would become POTUSA? This needs to be flushed out to understand/learn what has been going on for years towards bringing change into the USA government. Some like Khrushchev would prefer the term bury instead of change.

“The political process in Washington should not be “monolithic opposition to everything the chief executive wants to do as a political strategy,” Axelrod said...”

Given the chief executive’s previous performance, this is exactly the political strategy that should be employed by anyone seeking re-election.

I like the one where they claimed Romney was conservative. Even the liberals at work laughed at that one.
