We are what we support: Actions, not labels, define our politics
Tom Hoefling for President 2012 ^ | April 22, 2012 | J.D. Ellis

Posted on 04/22/2012 5:16:46 PM PDT by EternalVigilance

J.D. Ellis,
Vice Presidential Nominee,
America's Party

Conservative voters don't vote for liberal politicians. Both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are liberal politicians. As Mr. Hoefling has said many times, Republicans may be conservatives, or they may support Mitt Romney--but they may not do both.

Principled patriotic American voters don't vote for candidates who are opposed to America's foundational principles. Both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney hold a number of positions that are directly opposed to America's foundational principles. Republicans may be principled patriotic Americans, or they may support Mitt Romney--they may not do both.

Pro-life voters don't vote for pro-abortion candidates. Both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are pro-abortion candidates. Republicans may be pro-life, or they may support Mitt Romney--they may not do both.

With the impending Republican nomination of Mitt Romney for president, it is becoming increasingly difficult to deny that patriotic, pro-life conservatives are no longer allowed any real voice in the Republican Party. But patriotic, pro-life, conservative Republicans are welcome in America's Party.

You cannot be a conservative if you are voting for socialists

Sounds exactly right to me. It’s just common sense.

You are correct... we should only allow pro-Romney goose stepping articles since we are all socialists now.

please.

Romney’s not conservative at all, so what are you doing?
Deny Romney your vote in November, and maybe you won’t have to vote for him in 2016.
There is no hope for this country if people won’t even take a stand at the ballot box.
Bend over and vote for Romney, you’ll still get Obama.

In any engagement the best thing that one can do is to get his enemy to split his forces. This tactic is as old as organized conflict and is exactly what is happening here.
The only candidate that has any possibility of defeating Obama is Romney. By insisting that the right, Republicans, Conservatives, and independents vote for anyone else is a transparent effort to reelect Obama.
Split the right and reelect Obama. That is exactly your game. Wars are never won without losses and no one ever gets everything they want out of it. Wars are fought to defeat and enemy and Obama is the enemy of a free America.

Sorry, I do not support or vote for leftwing socialists like Romney.

By getting “the right” to vote for liberal progressive Romney, they have already DEFEATED them.

If O is reelected you can DEPEND on NOT being able to vote in 2016. Think Chavez folks....

That is so unrealistic. You do know better, don't you?

You said -I did not suggest ‘support’. I merely point out that it is IMPERATIVE that Obama NOT have a second term.

I agree, it is VERY imperative. And, hand in hand with that is, IT IS IMPERATIVE to elect someone who is not a carbon copy of Obama, just to get rid of Obama.

Nope I don’t know better. With all that his current four years has brought in terms of executive orders and agency fiats as well as czars and other such nonsense.... no I have NO confidence that there will be elections in 2016. The manufactured crises that this group has come up with the force their way is beyond belief. I expect only larger such efforts if they are reelected

“One Saturday last fall, President Obama interrupted a White House strategy meeting to raise an issue not on the agenda. He declared, aides recalled, that the administration needed to more aggressively use executive power to govern in the face of Congressional obstructionism. snip Aides say many more such moves are coming. Not just a short-term shift in governing style and a re-election strategy, Mr. Obama’s increasingly assertive use of executive action could foreshadow pitched battles over the separation of powers in his second term, should he win and Republicans consolidate their power in Congress.”

One of the many reasons why I do not know better

If you really, truly thought elections might be suspended by Obama (or whatever), you wouldn’t be sitting there typing.
I hope.

Nifster and oldnuff2no:

Neither Obama nor Romney are anything resembling conservative. You may prefer to delude yourself that you can believe Romney's Wall Street lavishly funded pack of campaign lies for 2012. Don't kid yourselves. Romney is simply the second political generation of a verrrrry bad and anti-conservative family that favors abortion, gay everything, socialized medicine with the ability to cut off medical care to folks whose crime is to be old or sick, and is obsessed with moving the GOP sharply leftward. You may want to reward Slick Willard for the mountain of money and slanderous/libelous campaign attacks on every conservative opponent, funded by his fellow corrupt megabucks buddies. I won't.

Is not the left divided between the Obozo left and the Romney left. By your attempt at logic, that is progress, no?
