TV Corrects Itself, Just Not on the Air (NBC & Zimmerman)

After broadcasting an audio clip on the “Today” show about George Zimmerman last month that hit the trifecta of being misleading, incendiary and dead-bang wrong, NBC News management took serious action: it fired the producer in charge and issued a statement apologizing for making it appear as if Mr. Zimmerman had made overtly racist statements.

The only thing NBC didn’t do was correct the report on the “Today” show.

What is it with television news and corrections? When the rest of the journalism world gets something wrong, they generally correct themselves. But network news acts as if an on-air admission of error might cause a meteor to land on the noggin of one of its precious talking heads. NBC used all of the powers at its disposal to amend the mistake, except the high-visibility airtime where the bad clip ran in the first place.

They punked us all, again, and it's past time for a class action lawsuit.

They are not afraid of us or any potential consequences for deliberately screwing with our domestic tranquility.

They love to create mobs, stir things up and then report on the damage.

This time the mob they created should turn on them and teach them fear along with some respect for their position of responsibility, with some legal looting and pillaging in the courtroom.

If we don't do it, they will continue to treat us like their own personal psych experiment and political propaganda play toys.

What it is, is that they want it to look like they are taking “responsible” action, but they won’t publically correct their erroneous bias because they want those whom they’ve influenced to believe it, continue to believe it, and build even more lies on it.

On a related subject...

I thought the job that O'Mara did on Gilbreath at the Zimmerman bail hearing was astounding. Who would've thought that a lead state investigator would testify that there is NO EVIDENCE to back up some of their most important claims in their affidavit!

So I'm checking out the sites today of the biggest liberal ranters who jumped on every morsel of news when it seemed to fit their narrative. As you may have guessed, on many of them, NOTHING about this was mentioned, and on the few that did report on it, it was mostly downplayed.
