TAMPA | Fifth-grade Mango Elementary teacher Ethel Anderson has pleaded not guilty to six counts of sex acts with a 12-year-old boy.
Anderson, 29, was named diversity educator of the year for 2011 at Mango and had a spotless disciplinary record.
The boy was not in her class. Anderson had been tutoring him since December. She would go to his home, pick him up and take him back to her Riverview home, where deputies say they engaged in sex acts.

Fred was being funny but that’s how I looked and felt when I saw that teacher’s mug shot in post #2. She looks mean and hard. And she was taking advantage of a child, possibly a diminished capacity child if he needed tutoring.

It's why they seem to have more trouble dealing with students, demanding 'zero tolerance' and turn out a poorer product. Yet, they haven't lost the cache of slaving away at a thankless and honorable profession, even as they are pulling down excessive salaries.

Is there something in the Tampa drinking water that makes all these female teachers “moist” for their students?

There is competition at the bottom of the barrel.The barrel is shaped like an upside-down funnel. The bottom is broad and crowded. The top is narrow and sparsely populated.
Most academics are at the bottom, including most professors.

Folks, if all we have to go on is the information in that news article, let’s not jump to conclusions. She is innocent until proven guilty. Believe it or not, kids do lie about things like this. In my own county a male teacher’s career was destroyed by the lies of 12-year-old girls. They later admitted that they lied, but the damage was done: he is ruined financially and professionally. So whether she’s attractive or not, let’s wait ‘til the facts emerge, just as we would prefer during the Zimmerman/Martin situation.
Just wanted to avoid any trouble!!!
