Except the "realists" were entirely correct and all the fantasy happy-talk about Newt making a comeback was entirely wrong.
Also, I'd like Newt to come out of this with some credibility, dignity and ability to influence people intact. His voice is important and had things gone differently he might have been the nominee. Making a fool of himself by continuing a campaign that was obviously lost long ago reduces him to the level of Ron Paul and, quite frankly, that is terribly sad. Ron Paul is a kook and Gingrich should not be emulating him.

I admit, I was wrong. Newt did manage to finish second in DE. I didn’t think he had it in him to beat Paul somewhere.
Won zero delegates tonight with a clean sweep for Romney.
So do we have an answer now? Santorum’s support isn’t going to Newt. It’s gone to Romney and Paul.
Except the “realists” were entirely correct and all the fantasy happy-talk about Newt making a comeback was entirely wrong.

Not to worry. Tomorrow, the sun will rise, God will be in His Heaven— and Newt will be campaigning in North Carolina.
Enjoy the day, my friend.
Are any of you one of those fools, tools, trolls, or sleepers that associate with, or hire, or do any business whatsoever with anyone from these groups that voted for Obama in these percentages in 2008? :
