Obama’s Attacks on the Family Farm Come Straight From Marxist Handbook
Gateway Pundit ^ | April 26,2012 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 04/26/2012 8:09:49 AM PDT by Hojczyk

Barack Obama is attacking the family farm – an American tradition. The administration’s Department of Labor implemented new regulations to restrict children from working on the family farm. This is despite the fact that farm accidents and injuries have decreased over the past several years.

For generations children and adults have worked together on the family farm. Those days are over.

Senators John Thune (R-S.D.) and Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) introduced the Preserving America’s Family Farm Act, to prevent the Department of Labor (DOL) from enacting its controversial proposed restrictions that would ban children from working on family farms.

Recently, Senator John Thune spoke out against the Obama Administration’s proposed labor rules for youth who work on farms and ranches on the Senate floor.

The Marxist-Leninist dogma said, “A small property generates capitalism day by day, minute by minute, spontaneous, and in mass proportions.” The small-time farmer feeding his family, with a little surplus, was seen as an individual member of the bourgeoisie, requiring squashing.

Redistributing wealth is the only thing communists know how to do brutally and stealthily well. Those who do not pay taxes or hold down jobs protest that it is their right to steal someone else’s money. They’ve even come up with a new euphemism, they are not stealing the wealth of producers, they are merely forcing them to “share the burden.”

But it is stealing! Every moment of time that we must work to earn money and pay taxes that are then spent by our out-of-control government on non-producers is a moment too long that we are slaves to someone else, a moment of time that is stolen from our limited time on earth.

I know exactly what Obama is. I just meant that, as more and more bizarre actions are taken by this administration, that I hope this convinces more moderate/independent voters of just how radical this guy is.

So now we’re seeing an attack on family farms by Obama???? For what purpose?

Look at the map of counties for the last election. The rural counties were strongly anti Democrat while the urban counties went almost wholly for them.

Add in the rise in gas prices, the attack on second amendment rights, the ever increasing regulation of natural resource related industries and the government land takings. The EPA and ESA making lands unusable for any purpose, the reduction in grazing and logging permits on government lands. it is an effort to eliminate the political competition.

And how we burned in the camps later, thinking:  What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?  Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?  The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

* fun facts: pigs are omnivores, and farm accidents happen.

Some legal eagle, help me out here. Is there a constitutional issue? What gives the Feds the right to tell parents on farms that their children can’t help out? The children are not employees, in the workforce. Same thing if you have your child help you do things on a non-farm. They aren’t an employee of yours. Somebody help with this. I haven’t heard it discussed from a legal perspective. I hate it when the writer gives up and says, “those days are over”. The days of children helping on the farm are over, because of Obama?? Come on people, don’t just role over and die!!

What you don't understand is that the Leftists have made it all or nothing. They are only ever doing one single thing, and then applying it to everything. So, if you fight one thing, and you win, then the entire edifice come tumbling down. You might think this is good - get all the dirt in one shot. And from that perspective, it is good. But the flip side is that there as so many varied vested interests hanging onto their piece of that one pie, that to protect themselves, they block the whole thing.

I'm talking about the corporatization of the person. It's one thing to have a limited incorporation of a business of many people, for financial reasons. But FedGov has taken the position that it creates the corporation, and that the corporation is therefore owned by it, and that everyone in the corporation is owned by it, and finally, that individual people can be "acting in their corporate capacity" (that's the meaning of the legal word "individual") and as such, are owned by FedGov.

Some people have pointed out that such definitions of incorporation makes literally everyone slaves of FedGov, under the guise of "acting in their corporate capacitites." And what's more, FedGov has decided that it doesn't have to prove anyone is actually a corporation - it has allowed itself to presume it against people. And what's more, to get rid of that presumption, you have to go to a FedGov "court" that sits in the presumption that the corporate presumption is correct.

Can it be fought? Yes. People could educate themselves and challenge this bogus legal presumption that steal life itself and win under common law. But for that to happen, two things would have to happen: 1) People would have to educate themselves as to what the real problem is; and 2) People would have to be willing to get rid of the entire corporate structure as it stands today, and collapse the megacorporate enablement and go back to a voluntarily interlocked small business culture of personal responsibility.

Still sounds good? Well, most of the graduates of what pass for universities happen to word for magacorporations in one form or another. We're talking tens of millions of people. And worse, they can't even imagine another way of life, as they have conflated modern conveniences with maegacorporations and personal incorporation. So they will fight such a change tooth and nail, as liberals, Leftists and RINOs. Because the same personal incorporation they live under, is what Obama wants to apply to children of farm families - the same status. And all those millions of crawling worms literally - literally - think that the problem with the world, is that everyone in the world has not yet been personally incorporated by the State like they are.

I'm very sorry for your loss Mr.L, honestly.

It does however emphasize the point.
Setting off for 'work' needs to put the totalitarian bastards in fear of their lives.

Does anyone know the bill name? Was going to write my senators, Durbin and Kirk, and my US rep, Tim Johnson on this.

Hopefully we can stop it.

I remember sitting on a small tractor for my old man to teach me how to drive. I couldn’t push the clutch in, as I was still too small to push it to the ground. My Dad simply said that we would have to wait until next year to try. I was probably 7. I grew up in tractors working for the family farm. I am the father of all girls, the oldest being 4, but I make it a point to take them to the farm all the time, and I look forward to all three of my girls helping their Grandpa.

President Obama may want to choose his fights more wisely, farmers are a stubborn bunch.

When I was young (16 years) I worked in the oil field during the summer for my dad. Rough-necked on the evening shift for two summers. You can barely work taking orders at McD now days at that age. Pathetic what they have done to discourage work ethic in our kids. I have a 14 year old grandson (6’1”) that wants to work on weekends but no one will hire a kid that young. Mow the yard and carry out the trash doesn’t quite do it.

Nobody "gives" them that "right". They just take it.

All political power flows out of the barrel of a gun.

The EPA goes after farmers for DUST.
The DOL goes after farmers for KIDS.

Do I sense a bit of DICTATORIAL Power being waged against this Country by its own Government?

Does anyone know the bill name?

this was Dept of Leftist action, not Congressional legislation. And if that wasn't the case, it would have just been another Exectuive Order.

Obama could save time - jump ahead to collective farms and mass starvation...

Just wait. It's coming. And sooner than anyone would think possible.

These thugs have been playing chess, while the rest of clueless America still thinks the game is checkers.

Once people wake up to the fact that the game is now entirely different, they are going to discover that they have already been check-mated.

And checkmate is already set and ready to be played. Doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Anyone whose read the writings of Obama's handlers and the lessons of history can see the handwriting on the wall.

Satan sticks to what works, because people forget history and choose to ignore the face he exists.

I fear this nation has no clue what time it is, or how late the hour it is for us.

Since this monster raised its head, one of many on the liberal beast, I can’t help but think, who is going to enforce this law? Does anyone think that a rural county sheriff is going to go around telling people they can’t have their children working? Most have the sense to know better, and the ones that don’t will learn quickly the errors of their ways.

I honestly believe that this law/intrusion/overstepping of authority and common sense is going to be the spark that finally lights a fire that burns back the encroaching weeds of liberal inspired federalism.

Most folks are missing the real point here. I don't think is is so much the prohibition, they are camouflaging going after the rural and farm kids he can not reach any other way.

“The new regulations, first proposed August 31 by Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, would also revoke the government’s approval of safety training and certification taught by independent groups like 4-H and FFA, replacing them instead with a 90-hour federal government training course.”

Anyone care to guess what the 90 hours of “federal government training” will contain?

Perhaps something along the lines of what is in this?

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set," he said Wednesday. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

In the >>> EXACT <<< same PUBLIC statement he said he would make federal assistance conditional on school districts establishing service programs and set the goal of 50 hours of mandatory service a year for middle school and high school students.

He is demanding mandatory control of the kids. Only now the monster is going after the rural and farm kids he can not reach any other way.

With the power grab at family farms, he will make himself the all powerful, all knowing fed-gov the ultimate authority, placing himself above the parents.

.
