I’m hoping this is a good thing. Holden was kinda conservative. Definitely from a conservative leaning area. It might go repub this fall.
Yes, it could make the GOP alternative more popular in November. Primaries are squirrelly things at best, with their pitiful turnouts. What happened here sounds more like it reflected activism than it reflected the broad desire of Democrat voters.

The district is now heavily D but the trade off was a safer district for Barletta (R). Plus Holden was pitted against another incumbant D so its one less democrat but Cartwright will vote lockstep with Pelosi.
