I’m not as freaked out. American troops have routinely been in former Eastern Bloc countries, including Russia. We trade troops all the time these days.

Me thinks this is more related to DHS's belief that the largest threat is "home grown" terrorism (you know - returning vets and people with Ron Paul bumper stickers). Just like Fast and Furious wasn't about tracking gun running to drug lords, it was about ginning up support for more gun control.

I know the WH has gone wild but I expect better of DoD.
It is true that Putin has directed money to Zero's campaign, Zero is so weak and incompetent that Putin couldn't put a bigger traitor in the White House if he trained him himself.
It's also true that Putin owns Obama, but Obama wasn't smart enough to "sell" out, he gave it away.
Lastly, the Russians aren't here to invade or conquer, there here to steal any good ideas they can.

I remember a story; Bob Kraft owner of the NE Patriots football team met Putin and showed Putin his Championship ring. Putin took the ring and put in his own pocket. Kraft couldn’t say anything - that’s Russian diplomacy.
The Russians will learn hardened techniques of how to properly read terrorists their miranda rights. They will be instructed how to lay low, following the Rules of Engagement, and wait to engage the enemy until they themselves draw first blood.

I don’t see this as a totally bad exchange. Most Russians like us, as opposed to the Putin government. We want every day Russias on our side. Those 20 Russians will go home with stories of how beautiful and clean this country is and how just about everything works. They will tell a lot of people (may be in private) how great it would to live here.
