Why May Day? Isn’t May 1 International Communist Day or something?

Didn’t the LA riots kick off May 1?

These May Day rallies are celebrating COMMUNISM! Pure and Simple. They are treasonous.

i like the portion of the strike poster which reads: “No House Work”- kind of telling how these “wake up at the crack of noon” parasites live their lives...

Yeah. So what's new?
Since the mid 30s, "private" unions supported communism, and more recently most public employee unions are financially mutually supportive with the CPUSA.

I have no problem with a general strike whatsoever, so long as there is no attempt to pay them for time not worked.

No work, no pay.

They’ve learned that the mayor of Oakland wants to just close her eyes and click her heels to make them go away, so look for the level of violence and property destruction to make national headlines again.

There haven’t been any “this is for Trayvon” assaults there, as far as I know, possibly because the Bay Area is so self-segregated by city that the odds are low that whitey has any business in the bad areas.

I guess CNN will report these wonderful, “grassroots” exhibitions. Glad I don’t live close to any of those cities.

I think it is somehow related to Communism. It is my understanding that it started out in commemoration of the labor strike that got out of hand in Chicago in 1886.

Haymarket affair (also called Haymarket massacre)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haymarket_affair

So May Day events are historically associated with violence. That’s why the heads-up.

The commies who can't shoot straight embarrassed themselves last year so I expect the Soros Stupids to get a little more violent this year...

...some are gonna get killed by local police while Obama will keep the Feds out of it (he may even order Holder to arm the agitators)...anarchy will ensue in places and self armed 2nd Amendment following private citizens, officially deputized, will help the cops mop up the mess from there...

...then with self armed American patriots thus gathered, organized and properly motivated in the defense of our nation...

...a "peaceful" march on Washington DC may be in order.

Ooops, and yes the LA riots happened around the same date ... started April 29 and carried on through may day ... not sure if they had anything to do with the other events.

I think John Paul II, no friend of communism, added St. Joseph to May 1, although St. Joseph already had another day already.

I think this - I could be wrong.

Please correct me if this is urban or any other myth.

Not a friend to communism at all.
