We need to focus on Obama now and stop dissing his opponent.

I agree with you 100%.

I agree, PS144. Romney ran against zero opponents with the financial resources to launch an all-out attack on him.

That has changed.

Romney is even a target you don’t need to lie about. He really is a pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, anti-gun, big government, pro-tax liberal.

And don’t think for a moment Obama doesn’t have the cash to backchannel attacks designed to dampen republican turnout.

For a while in 2008 I thought it might be better if Obama beat Hillary--they seemed to be equally bad on ideology but Hillary would have brought back all the Clinton thuggery and mafioso-style governance, and Obama seemed to be less nasty as a person than Hillary.

My opinion of Hillary hasn't changed for the better but I would now rank his personality as at least as bad as hers. He has done and is doing more harm than she would have done--her foreign policy might have been marginally better and she probably wouldn't have managed to get the federal takeover of health care through Congress.

The dream police, they live inside of my head
The dream police, they come to me in my bed
The dream police, they’re coming to arrest me, oh, no

You know that talk is cheap
And those rumors ain’t nice
And when I fall asleep
I don’t think I’ll survive the night, the night

‘Cause they’re waiting for me
They’re looking for me
Every single night
They’re driving me insane
Those men inside my brain

DREAM POLICE — SUPERTRAMP, 1979

You may very well be right, but I really don’t see how the country survives another 4 years of the Marxist-in-Chief. I would sooner vote for a ham sandwich than have Obama back.

Romney has named Judge Bork as a legal consultant.

He’s talking with Bolton about foreign affairs.

He might nominate Bork to the Supreme Court... wouldn’t that be a hood.

Way to go on your associates so far, Mr. Mitt.

“How does that demographic compare, in voting percentages, to the general under-21 crowd?”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I don’t know but I do know that the founders only intended for responsible, productive and literate people to vote and they had good reason for that. They also intended for only males to vote and although I didn’t think so in my younger days I now see that they had good reason for that also. They were no bunch of dummies and those who imagine they can come up with a better system than we started with should think long and hard about that.

“You can’t compare a race with a stinking incumbent to one with no incumbent.”

“Obama played the race card against a race card coward. That isn’t happening now.”

Brilliant, intellectual, really-really smart,
above-it-all Independents, plus die-hard ethnic groups that worship at the feet of The President, plus those who are
dyed-in-the-wool Progressives, no matter what, will put him over the top, 55 to 45%, not to mention Mickey and Minnie Mouse, plus the votes that will be counted many times, plus the phantoms that will visit the polling places. (Race will have nothing to do with it, only the propaganda that floods the airwaves.)

IMHO

and the under-21 crowd will soon get their student loan bribe from The Messiah sometime between now and October.

(probably via another Executive Order)

I am a realist. I live in REALVILLE and I don’t apologize to you or anyone else for refusing to keep my head stuck in the sand about the reality what kind of disaster this nation faces, infact the problems this country faces are significant enough that they cannot even be solved by winning temporary political elections on the margins.

Rush lives in REALVILLE, you live in a tent at the edge of GLOOM & DOOMSBURG.

You have no candidate that you back, so you surrender.

Worse than surrender, your inaction helps the enemy.

Make no mistake, obama is the enemy, mittens is weak and spineless, but no one can call him a communist traitor, who is plotting the end of our second amendment rights.

The pinnacle of his presidency was the day he was inaugurated. I predict he will be resoundingly defeated in November.

Ultimately it’s Jim’s private board to manage as he pleases. I have decided to risk getting kicked for the sake of being honest. I am highly disappointed that Barack Obama’s main challenger is shaping up to be a third rate, compromising, flip flopping, wishy washy excuse for a Republican — and yet Barack Obama has been so horrible that even this excuse looks like an oasis in a desert. As an oasis on an arduous journey across the dry land, it certainly is by no ways a destination — not even the best of presidents could be, let alone the Mittster.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, I’m buying stock in nose clothespins.

The welfare rolls aren’t anywhere large enough to buy off even progressives who have or recently had day jobs. They may not go for Mitt but they are willing to sit out Obama in protest.

Bud I’ve given up long ago on trying to be clever. That is no avenue into truth, it’s only so much debate jiu jitsu.

But I refuse to be confused by irrelevant factors.
