What evidence does Special Prosecutor Angela Corey have that prompted her to charge George Zimmerman with murdering Trayvon Martin? So far, she has refused to say.
Before long, though, she will be required by law to release the evidence — which fills several boxes. What will it show?
"It'll be like little bits and pieces that will have to be strung together," said Adam Pollack, an Orlando criminal-trial attorney. "Almost a bunch of little dots. Initially, the little dots don't make much sense, but if you step back, you see a bigger picture."
The public could get access in the next few days — although there may be delays — because prosecutors are legally required to share evidence with the defense and, once that happens, the information becomes public through a process called discovery. The most compelling evidence should fall into these categories:
Crime-scene evidence
That includes anything found at the scene where the two came into contact and the sidewalk where Zimmerman, a Sanford Neighborhood Watch volunteer, fatally shot the unarmed black teenager Feb. 26. He's charged with second-degree murder.
Local lawyers say some of the evidence they're most eager to see are photos or anything else that documents Zimmerman's injuries or their absence. He called Sanford police, describing Trayvon as suspicious and then began following the Miami Gardens teenager on foot.
Zimmerman said he shot Trayvon in self-defense after the teen punched him, knocked him to the ground and then began pounding his head on a sidewalk.
"I definitely want to know what injuries the defendant suffered, what type of injuries and to what extent they were documented," said Pollack.
Sanford police took photos of the defendant that night. They should be in the evidence soon to be released.

Not necessarily, depends on where he was punching him and whether he hit teeth etc. Also Trayvon was DEAD immediately after the beating, the body not reacting like a live body would, swelling etc.
Notice he didn’t buy any “snacks” for himself. Around here the all night convenience stores are known for selling more tea outside in the parking lots then inside.

It will show that the 911 tape had Mr. Zimmerman replying “okay” when the 911 operator told him to NOT pursue St. Trayvon. Evidence will show that George did NOT follow the kid in an aggressive manner. Evidence will show that Trayvon was a thug.
Indeed. That is the very article I was thinking about.
The 911 tape (if played from the beginning) will show that the dispatcher asked Zimmerman to keep an eye on Martin. Not just once but twice. In order to do that Zimmerman had to leave his vehicle, get out in the cold rain. When he complained it’s “Fn Cold” she asked if he was following (out in the weather). He affirmed and she replied he didn’t have to do that.
Bits and pieces taken out of the entire picture ARE missleading.
None, other than obvious political pressure. It's too bad the state can't be forced to reimburse Zimmerman for the monies he's going to have to spend to defend himself once he's found innocent........
I just googled for “trayvon martin” “toxicology results” and everything on the first four pages says no results yet.
I wonder if drug testing was done on Angela Corey. Or, at least the prosecutors at the Salem Witch Trials seem to have had a more believable case.
Yeah, I googled some related phrases and there is nothing conclusive. In fact, what I read strongly implies that no results have been released.
George Zimmerman had to (and continues to) be trashed in the media, his life ruined, because some PUNK, chip on his shoulder (parents fault), Hoodie wearing tough guy, took Skittles to a gun fight. Trayvon Martin got just what he deserved. His parents reaped what they sowed. I will not shed a tear for, PUNK not Saint, Tayvon Martin or his parents.
Wear your bling, gold teef, talk your ghetto speak, use your hand signal gang signs, wear your hoodies, wear your pants off your a$$ exposing your underwear and your ignorance, and wonder why you don't fit into society and end up in prison or dead on the ground.
If TM was on drugs it would help GZ’s already very strong defense immensely. Near the beginning of the 911 tapes GZ says something like “He looks like he's on drugs”. This was before he knew his race, I believe.
So, if GZ “profiled” TM as being on drugs, and he indeed was on drugs, it would certainly hurt the prosecution's already weak argument that GZ wrongfully “profiling” TM was directly responsible for the altercation that lead to TM’s death.

The prosecutor has no evidence for murder. She caved in to the BLACK KKK LYNCHMOB mentality of the LIBERAL FRAUDS in the left. She collasped like a cheap pair of folding chairs. She along with NBC and the rest of the frauds if found guilty of doctoring or withholding evidence should be the ones being prosecuted.
I can honestly not think of a single thing that could convict Zimmerman other than ballistic evidence that Zimmerman shot Trayvon in the back while he was trying to run away or something of that nature, since the prosecution already admitted they have no evidence of who started the fight.
Now that ABC has had to admit that the video they broadcast does indeed show signs of injury to the back of Zimmerman's head, the Orlando Sentinel is forced to admit such. But, of course, they don't have to show the widely viewed picture taken at the scene which shows the blood on the back of Zimmerman's head.
Evidently, the Orlando Sentinel would be completely comfortable if Zimmerman is convicted on the basis of the videos and the picture is disregarded. They are truly a shameful bunch.
