When Zimmerman evidence is released, what will it show?(FL)

What evidence does Special Prosecutor Angela Corey have that prompted her to charge George Zimmerman with murdering Trayvon Martin? So far, she has refused to say.

Before long, though, she will be required by law to release the evidence — which fills several boxes. What will it show?

"It'll be like little bits and pieces that will have to be strung together," said Adam Pollack, an Orlando criminal-trial attorney. "Almost a bunch of little dots. Initially, the little dots don't make much sense, but if you step back, you see a bigger picture."

The public could get access in the next few days — although there may be delays — because prosecutors are legally required to share evidence with the defense and, once that happens, the information becomes public through a process called discovery. The most compelling evidence should fall into these categories:

Crime-scene evidence

That includes anything found at the scene where the two came into contact and the sidewalk where Zimmerman, a Sanford Neighborhood Watch volunteer, fatally shot the unarmed black teenager Feb. 26. He's charged with second-degree murder.

Local lawyers say some of the evidence they're most eager to see are photos or anything else that documents Zimmerman's injuries or their absence. He called Sanford police, describing Trayvon as suspicious and then began following the Miami Gardens teenager on foot.

Zimmerman said he shot Trayvon in self-defense after the teen punched him, knocked him to the ground and then began pounding his head on a sidewalk.

"I definitely want to know what injuries the defendant suffered, what type of injuries and to what extent they were documented," said Pollack.

Sanford police took photos of the defendant that night. They should be in the evidence soon to be released.

If there is such evidence, it should have been in the indictment.

Nah, Holder told her to go ahead and prosecute anyway.

Probably told her he needed some “space” until after the election and then she could have a federal job.

I wonder if drug testing was done on Martin.

What evidence does Special Prosecutor Angela Corey have

There is nothing more important than having a lid on a boiling cauldron at this time to prevent overflow. A legitimate LE official would try to keep the lid on. If zer0 is gone (voted out), and if the chips are going to fall; let the chips fall then (after zer0) and not at this time (during zer0). My humble opinion.

I’ve said before and I’ll say it again that this incident is not an example of purely criminal prosecutorial intention that we saw in the Duke Rape Hoax. That said, I will allow one similarity: many of us are told, or are thinking, “well the prosecutor has to have more than what we’ve seen, right?”.

In the Duke Rape Hoax, the answer was always, and increasingly shockingly, no. I can only wait to see if there is anything more to this incident than what we (and the Sanford police?) already know — but I agree with earlier posts here that if there were more to it, we should have seen it in the indictment.

As discussed in other threads, there might in fact be less, not more, from the prosecutor than we have been told. The doubts raised about the “girlfriend” at the other end of the phone need to be addressed.

—I wonder if drug testing was done on Martin.—

I read in several places on the internet that it had been done and illegal substance(s) were found in his system.

But file this under IIRC.

But they haven’t got that much time. We have 8 days for the arraignment.

The autopsy report should be interesting. I’m curious about the tests on the KelTec. Did it fire every time when tested? Were Martin’s finger prints on the gun?

Early reports said drug tests were done on TM but not done on GZ. (GZ showed no signs of being under the influence, but in the intial call to the dispatcher Zimmerman first says he appears to be up on something and later say “Yelp he looks like he’s up on something) No tox reports have been released.

In effect, Obama's son was armed with a chunk of concrete.

I suspect that Corey has very little in the way of credible evidence, and that all of this was a set-up to let the court take the fall for allowing Zimmerman to walk.

That said, Corey has put herself in a position for some serious sanctions by the court.

Regarding the “girlfriend”, you may find this VERY interesting. It is part of a series. It is the most complete rundown of this thing I’ve ever seen:

“If Zimmerman is telling the truth and Trayvon had him pinned to the ground and was beating him, the teenager’s body should have cuts or bruises consistent with that, she said.

The funeral director who prepared Trayvon’s body, Richard Kurtz, told the Orlando Sentinel he saw no such signs of a fight.

The Statist Sweetie is being deliberately deceitful. If the soi dissant “No_Limit_Nigga” was on top of Zimmerman, beating Zimmerman’s head against the sidewalk, then an honest person would assume the bruises, cuts, and grass stains to be on Zimmerman.

Oops, I am discussing the spewing of a statist attorney and therefore “honest” should not have been used as it is inapplicable. Sorry, my mistake.

"I wonder if drug testing was done on Martin."

My guess is yes. An autopsy should include drug testing.
