Gas is killing me. Can’t even visit my daughter-28 miles away. Costs me $12. I’m a senior on fixed income.

My wife lost her job and with unemployment we actually make more money with the savings from the gas she’s not using.

I had to delete #2 because one of the cartoons was from Ramirez. Please remove that cartoon if you want to use that assortment as a post. Thanks.

” I had to delete #2 because one of the cartoons was from Ramirez. “

You must be new - Mods historically yank posts and threads without explanation (or in the case of ‘pulled threads’, a cryptic ‘explanation’ that explains nothing..)

Hang in there - you’ll catch on.... ;)

Our enemies in the Democrat cheer-leading media insult us with “happy face” stories about the price of gas being “only” $3.83 - heaven help us!

The CBS news last night said gas is back to where it was a year ago, So, no harm no foul, happy days are back again. Bull feathers! That kind of lousy news coverage just doesn’t cut it. Everyone wants it back to where it was when Odumbo took office! Around $ 1.80 per gallon.

This is one area where Obozo is vulnerable. What scares me is that, with one Executive Order, he could change everything. If he came out an announced: 1) All federal lands are open for drilling (e.g., ANWR, offshore, and deep water), 2) the EPA will no longer set emission standards, and 3) all federal permitting processes will take no longer than 90 days, the spot price of oil would drop through the floor.

If he did all (or any) of that, he’d be more ‘Republican’ than most Republicans...

True, and for the life of me, I don't understand why the GOP doesn't hit him hard on this. Everyone is PO’ed about high gas prices and the GOP does nothing to pin it on Obozo’s policies. I don't get it.

For one thing, obama and the GOP have the same goal. They just differ in how to get there.

The other is that the GOP hates and are running against Conservatives and Conservativeism, not the Democrat Party.

Last but not least, the GOP attacks and critsizes Conservatives, not Democrats.

The time is not yet right.

The time for killing begins in late August. Blood spilled in May will be cleaned up with no trace come election season.

The plan seems to be have massive arrays of artillery and unlimited TV and internet ammo ready for continuous devastating barrage to be fired at the proper time. The assault in late October will yield carnage on an unprecedented scale.

I kinda feel this way about the GOP, too. I've not given the GOP any money since I started feeling this way. Indeed, it may well be time to start "our own" party, perhaps using the Tea Party as its seed.

I hope you’re right, but the GOP seems very inept to me when it comes to making issues stick on the opposition. If they don’t do a better job before November, I fear for this Republic.
