President Barack Obama made a previously unannounced visit to Afghanistan on Tuesday, the first anniversary of the U.S. raid that killed Osama bin Laden in neighboring Pakistan.
The president will make a televised address from Afghanistan at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The trip was Obama's third to Afghanistan since taking office. He visited in March 2010 and returned in December of the same year. He also visited Afghanistan in 2008 as a presidential candidate.
Tuesday's visit came at a particularly delicate time in relations between the United States and Afghanistan. The countries have been negotiating a strategic agreement that would outline the basis for U.S.-Afghan cooperation after most U.S. and allied troops withdraw in 2014.

While he is taking a victory lap I am finding out the details for my friend’s son’s funeral. He died last Thursday from injuries he suffered in Afghanistan 11 days earlier. I doubt this cic even knows about him. He makes me nauseous.
Dittos, if someone in his party doesn’t do something about him soon, I think it might be to late. We have occupiers all over the country, an economy in shambles, socially our country is coming apart at the seams, and this POS decides to use our troops as a photo op for his reelection. I don’t understand how the dems are so blinded by the lack of leadership from this child king. Maybe they are, and don’t want to be called racist for pointing it out, who knows anymore.
Sorry for your loss, I really think it is time to pull out of that hell hole. When we have a cINC that only cares about using our troops for photo ops, and has rules of engagement that put our soldiers at increased risk, we shouldn’t be there anymore.

Well I think the difference was that Clinton was just a “good old boy”, with loose morals and an ego. I never really thought of him as an American hater, just another corrupt politician. Now Hillary, I’m not so sure of, remember, she said she loathed our military, not unlike Michelle with her proud of her country for the first time comments. But unlike Obama, I don’t think they wanted America gone, they just wanted to change it. I really believe Obama, by his words and deeds, wants America destroyed, and he wants to be the one that does it.

Yup, other than one photo of all the "Trayvon sons and Hillary daughters", most in other photos looked pissed off behind him. I never saw any photo of our troops behind Bush II looking anything less than with admiration and genuine smiles. And yes, from what I hear, some volunteer while most are forced into formation for the usurper CIC.
I can't despise bambi anymore after this campaign photo-op with our troops. I thought I hated him for his socialist policies and trying to kill the American way of life. Now I abhor the POS for using our troops while implying he killed bin-Laden, when the DOD and CIA and NSA mechanism was already in place to find that pr*ck.
It's heartening to see so many in the MSM question bambi's claim about this. Even Adriana Huffington said bambi's latest obvious campaign video was "dispicable". Also, Beckle (resident lib on FOX FIVE) stammered while trying to defend this latest atrocity by "changey" guy.
If you socialists reading this board think that your "dear leader" was responsible for killing bin-Laden, you are poorly informed or just damn stupid. As a Veteran, I know how long operations need to come to fruition. The only thing that your "hopey" dipsh*t did was not to over-ride his Joint Chiefs of Staff to kill Osama. The operation was already in progress before he was called off the golf course. That is a fact.
So socialists, how's that "hopey/changey" thing working out for you? Got job? Oh, right, you don't want a job because you think you're owed a living by the 1%, which is actually more like the 50% that pay taxes so you can whine and live in your Mom's spare room or your off-campus room your parents pay for.
