Yet, betty boop has made statements that *implied Mormons are Christians

I suspect you might have inferred what she believes.

Bottom line, Mormons are our neighbors. We are to love our neighbors. And Jesus made it abundantly clear that "neighbor" also means people who do not believe as we do.

And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

[Parable of the Good Samaritan] Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. - Luke 10:25-32

God's Name is I AM.

Indeed, dearest sister in Christ — that is my understanding as well.

Thank you so very much for writing!

Which is why I kept asking her the question point blank. A question she dodged and did not answer directly.

I DO love Mormons, I love them enough to challenge their beliefs and make them think.

When I was trapped in Mormonism, my ‘christian’ friends who thought they could just be nice and kind and not challenge me and just ‘love me to the Lord’ I liked, but I did not respect their beliefs (I saw them as weak in their faith) and I certainly did not listen to them.

It was the people who made me mad, mad enough to prove them wrong, that got through to me and most other ex-Mormons who have become Christians say the same thing.

Only after they realize that Mormonism is a lie can we begin to love them to the Lord - an that is exactly what we do, even here on Freep.

Now BB will get on YOUR case; for you've implied that MORMONs are THIEVES!
