Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz Accuses GOP of 'Making Sure That We Would Redefine Rape' By Matt Cover

(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz of Florida, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, accused Republicans on Tuesday of "making sure that we would redefine rape."

“I think the agenda of the Republican Party and of Mitt Romney has clearly been--and can be interpreted as--an attack on the issues that matter to women,” Wasserman-Schultz said during a conference call.

“From the very beginning of this Congress,” she said, “the first priorities in the first bills the Republicans introduced repealing the Affordable Care Act which would dramatically impact women in a negative way [by] making sure that insurance companies could drop us or deny us coverage for preexisting conditions, making sure that we could once again be charged more simply because of our gender for insurance coverage, making sure that we would redefine rape as only being forcible rape--that was H.R. 3.”

Wasserman-Schultz was referring to the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, which sought to make the ban on federal funding of abortions permanent, removing the need to pass the Hyde Amendment every year.

Is that rape, or rape-rape as Dems like to distinguish?

Better put some ice on that, Debbie.

This is coming from an administration that continues to support and appease a nation (China) that engages in forced abortions, even rejecting the asylum request of a blind, anti-forced abortion activist.

Who is anti-women now?

“redefine rape as only being forcible rape”

Doesn’t the word “rape” by definition imply forced or coerced sexual behavior?

Democratic strategy: Keep telling lies, so that the opposition can’t keep up.

All I know is that rapists are predominately Dem’s. Look at the Kennedy’s.

Washerwoman-Schultz is the epitome and a contributor of everything that has gone wrong in America in the past 40 years.

Hyphenated Schultz no doubt looks at her reflection in the mirror each morning and sees something that the rest of us fail to see:

An egotistical, homely girl that apparently due to the shape of her surly mouth is incapable of keeping it closed. When it opens and she attempts speech a spew of hateful rhetoric is vomited from her snarling mouth.

She is the epitome of the Democrat pin-up girl.

Seriously Schultz, a ghastly, marxist-Democrat is exactly like the entire retinue of ugly democrat women that tirelessly work towards the destruction of America.

Perhaps Curly Top should go on The View and discuss with Whoopi and Bill Clinton the difference between rape and rape-rape and oral sex is not sex.

Right: Rape is forced sex, an act of violence, coercion or deceit (example: drugs), a serious crime punished severely but it must be proven like any other crime.
Left: Rape is whatever we say it is, even long after the fact. Proof is not necessary.

I was going to ask what DWS’s “definition” would be.

I think you’re right. If someone asked her, she would not give a definitive answer. More like, “if a woman feels like she was raped, she was raped (unless it’s done by a prominent leftist).

Sure. As long as we can ask the Democrats to redefine MURDER as it applies to abortion, partial birth abortion, etc.

Now that we have more than ample scientific information that proves the child in the womb is, indeed, a child in the womb.

When you see an “inconsistency” on the left,
look for the consistency.

And that consistency, always, is the advancement of communism.
