Sorry, nothing’s going to implode. The citizenry of this country feels satisfied with the political system, “the best on the planet”, to even quote some members here, dissatisfied with what’s going on as the rest of us. Americans are complacent, and passive, happy more or less with the status quo. Hey, over 90% of the willing are employed. Are my former ex-colleagues at work going to change their voting habits because I’m unemployed and suffering? Out of sight, out of mind.

Since Bush Daddy, GOP has put forth candidates of the happy status quo, even today, as a bona fide Communist is hijacking the country in plain view. But who’s noticing it? Certainly not the Wal Mart shoppers, not the Americans Idle viewers. Everything’s going fine for the citizens, 99% of whom don’t read this and similar forums, and don’t listen to the radio shouters.

Europeans, Latin Americans live through turmoils, wars, changes in government, all giving them no reasons for complacency. By having such a stable political system we have put the citizenry to sleep unaware of the peaceful Communist takeover taking place in Washington and in state capitals. Things will go on as before, the RAT party the equivalent of a European Communist Party and GOPee the equivalent of a Socialist Party.

Sincerity is everything,
if you can fake that, you got it made.

All lurkers and readers who happen to be following, in the interest of deducing Mitt Romney's political character as inferred from the behavior of his supporters, because the behavior of a candidate's supporters speaks volumes about the candidate --

-- I feel entirely justified in breaking a protocol. Norwaypinesavage just sent me a FReep mail with the simple declaration:

"I don't debate with children."

It is an absolutely perfect example of the arrogant, superior dismissal ALL conservatives will get from the Romney camp if, God forbid, he wins. Take heed. Head's up. These are people who think of anyone who disputes them as "children," lower folks, less mature, contemptible.

Any honest reading of FR shows that we conservatives who reject Romney do not characterictically think of or refer to the folks we're trying to warn and see the light with regard to what a big mistake Romney would be, as "children." I for one see them as compatriots who are letting fear cloud their judgment, a perfectly human and understandable thing.

Romney people think of the rest of us as "children." And such would be the lot of conservatives in the GOP with Romney in the White House. They'd be eating on the card table in the kitchen while moderate Republicans got to eat with the big people.

To quote a great American hero: Piss on Mitt Romney.

With all due respect, SO WHAT?

IMHO, everyone should already know that we humans are not perfect.

Do you really think our votes should only be given to perfect, i.e. “divine”, beings? Wasn’t it that kind of “thinking” that gave us our Hawaiian Mussolini?

Anyway, if your research into the “facts” has led you to prefer Obama to Romney, then should’t you be singing “Kumbayah” with the other DUmmies? Somewhere else?

What to be learned?

A. Norwaypinesavage is a meany because he called someone a child
or
B. Finny will reveal a private freepmail in a second

The answer is “DING! DING! DING!” drumroll.........
B

It would take much more than being called a child for me to reveal a private message. Much much more... Once one loses his trust on this board, it is hard to get it back.

We changed the House in 2010 and all our rah rah tea party stalwarts went right into totalitarian mode. The tipping point has been passed, probably some time ago. There is no going back.Romney is working enthusiastically for the other side just as is the kenyan. Our Congressmen, Tea Party and all have not made one peep about rolling back the assumptions of the EOs.

The Democrat Party will hang together until they have total power then one faction at a time will be eliminated until there is one last faction standing. The rest will be dead along with most of the identifiable opposition. That will not end th fights at the top, It didn’t in the USSR, they just become personal fights among a very small group of men.
