Its breaking news from the world of sports. He was the man behind the microphone at Fenway Park.
Carl Beane was killed in a single car crash on Holland Road in Sturbridge, Mass. earlier Wednesday.
He was 59 years old.
He began his career as the public address announcer at Fenway in 2003.
In his second year, he announced the first two games of the World Series and went on to see the Sox become champions for the first time in 86 years.
Beane again had the honor of announcing games during the 2007 World Series.
According to his website, Beanes voice can be heard in "the baseball experience" at the national baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.
Beane was born and raised in Agawam, Mass.

Shame.
Red Sox bad karma continues
not sure how one dies in a one car crash........
Jerry Remy has been out sick too. Hope he recovers and gets back to doing color commentary for NESN.
Drive into a tree.
>>>not sure how one dies in a one car crash........
Easy. It’s all in the physics. Laws of motion, inertia, energy, mass... a single car at sufficient speed striking an object that can’t be moved by the car loses every time.
......”and he’s outhta here!”...
Not trying to be a smarta$$ or anything but...you don't get out much,do you?
actually, no.
truth be told, I served on board a fast attack sub. during the ‘70’s spent most of my life in Mass.
Trees
Bridge abutments
Ditches
Ponds
Lakes
Lots of ways—even hitting a deer or a hog or a cow.
And around these parts, going over a 1,000 foot cliff.
Life can end in a flash___got Jesus? I dont understand how leftists can be so brazen. I’m scared of going to hell if not for being saved by Jesus Christ__praise Him forever.
I did a quick tally of the people I have known who have died in car crashes. Five of the crashes (six people) were single-car crashes. One crash (two people) involved multiple vehicles.
Trees and ditches.
RIP.
Just BELIEVE!
RIP Carl Beane.
Had a heart attack which I believe did him in.
