ELIZABETH WARREN DANCES WITH LIES
Ann Coulter.com ^ | May 9, 2012 | by Ann Coulter

Elizabeth Warren, who also goes by her Indian name, "Lies on Race Box," is in big heap-um trouble. The earnest, reform-minded liberal running for Senate against Scott Brown, R-Mass., lied about being part-Cherokee to get a job at Harvard.

Harvard took full advantage of Warren's lie, bragging to The Harvard Crimson about her minority status during one of the near-constant student protests over insufficient "diversity" in the faculty. Warren also listed herself as an Indian in law school faculty directories and, just last month, said, "I am very proud of my Native American heritage."

Except, oops, she has no more evidence that she's an Indian than that buffoon out of Colorado, Ward Churchill.

The Boston Globe immediately leapt to Warren's defense, quoting a genealogist who found a marriage license on which Warren's great-great-uncle scribbled that his mother, Warren's great-great-great grandmother, was a Cherokee. This is not part of the official marriage license. (If I scribble "Kenyan" on Obama's birth certificate, does that make it true?)

Which, if true, would mean, at best, she's what.......1/32nd Cherokee?

Yet another lying liberal bitch. Reap it, Massachusetts.

Even MA voters can’t support Fauxcahontas...

The 40% of the electorate, comprising 11% R's and a good handful of un-enrolled's, did vote, and will vote for Scott - so he has that base. What put him over the top over Marsha last time 'round was Marsha's stupidity and awful campaigning, much of it having media "legs". Things such as ticking off RedSox nation at Fenway, the jostling of the reporter, stupid DNC-driven ads that misspelled Massachesettes. It would appear to me that Princess Spreading Bull is following in Marsha's footsteps, as this indian thing has LONG legs - enough to garner another 11% of unenrolleds to Scott's side (40+11 = 51!).

Ha! Yes, I remember all the Marsha missteps. I especially loved it when the Democrats totally trashed her after the election. That she didn’t want to get her hands dirty campaigning or stand outside plants to meet workers getting off work. Loved it. I hope you’re right and this indian fiasco has legs.

My gggg grandmother was Cherokee according to some record that I forget.

My Oklahoma ancestors were there when it was the Indian Territory. They're listed on the 1900 Indian Census as Cherokee - they're not on the 1900 U.S. (white) Census. Eight of ten children (including my g-grandmother) graduated from the famous Chiloqua Indian School; her brother became the school's athletic coach and served there for decades.

In photos (in keeping with the census), her black hairs in dual braids, and she's in beaded buckskin. She's quite clearly Indian.

She married into my family when an ancestor was sent into the Creek Nation as a Methodist Circuit Rider (I have the records sending him there).

Following the family back, they were removed from Dahlonega, Georgia and shortly after gold was found there (the first U.S. gold rush).

My g-grandmother would have passed for full Cherokee, from the photos. Very, very dark skin, Native American features, jet black hair.

Unlike Warren, I can prove two lines of Cherokees. Unlike Warren, I haven't used Native American status (except that, after being accepted at her top two choices for college, my oldest daughter experimented and applied to a choosy state school on a form that said 'check all that apply' as white AND Native American. Heh, heh. Even after she wrote them to say she had accepted admission to another college, they were doing everything except paying our mortgage and mowing our lawn to get her to attend.)

Hey, how far can you take this part minority thing? I have two uncles who married full-blooded native Americans. Can I claim some benefit by extension? Even though I don’t have a drop of amerind blood in me? I think. Maybe I do. hmmmmmmm. Well, I am part Irish, and the Irish were oppressed for centuries by the British. You know, my wife is from England. Maybe I can guilt/pressure her into giving me some money. But she’s part Irish too. Maybe she could sue herself for some dough. Darn, I thought I had this oppressed-minority scam figured out.

Ann has lost her glow here, and it has to do with her beliefs not mine, nice try.

Case in point about Ann, she used to get 100’s f posts on a new article, plus on the frist page there would be 8-12 calls from posters for pictures of Ann.

If you can count, look at the number of postes here, and how many are asking for pictures of her?

It is now the same with all her articles here, my guess is you are a Romney supporter hoping to build up her lost position here.

Granted that Sister Golden Hair Surprise (named at birth as that rare blonde, blue eyed Cherokee infant), claims to be a Cherokee, it is a good thing that SGHS is probably quite ignorant of actual Native American history.

Not far from Oklahoma (the end of the Cherokee Trail of Tears). in what became the states of the Southwestern US, was another tribe, much fiercer and much more formidable in war: the various sub-tribes of the Apache. If SGHS were aware of them, she might have to live up to the magnificent heritage of Lozen, sister of the Apache war chief Vittorio, and herself that rare anomaly, a widely feared woman warrior. Before dying at 50 of tuberculosis, Lozen was not only among the most feared warriors of the Apache but also quite feminine in other ways. She served her sister Apache women as a midwife, was something of an Apache Holy Woman and Prophet who had a gift for praying and having revealed to her the precise location and number of approaching enemies of her tribe.

Lozen, a member of the Chihenne band of Chiracahua Apaches, was a highly valued warrior in bands led by her brother Vittorio, by Nana and by Geronimo.

By contrast, Sister Golden Hair Surprise would destroy the United States not by force of arms but by relentless socialist and Marxist destruction of our economy. And, of course, SGHS has about as much legitimate Cherokee blood as Heather Locklear or Indira Ghandi or Queen Elizabeth II or Olivia Newton-John.

Very interesting! My husband is 1/8 Cherokee and my children are 1/16, but we’re all extremely pale except for Tom. A Missionaries of the Poor brother from Kenya asked my last weekend if my little boys were sick, because he could see the blue veins under their skin. He had worked in Kenya, Jamaica, and Uganda, and he’d never seen such pale people up close!
