Tamaulipas law enforcement officials confirmed the ghastly find made by employees at a popular shopping area in the state capital of Ciudad Victoria: dismembered bodies left in bags.

Authorities were called about 7:30 a.m. to the Soriana Tamatan Shopping Center in the city that lies about 200 miles south of Reynosa. In the bed of a compact Chevrolet pickup, authorities found the remains of three men who had been chopped to pieces and stuffed into several bags, said a Tamaulipas law enforcement official who requested anonymity for security reasons.

Initially authorities believed that more bodies had been in the pickup, but once they got the body parts out, they realized it was only three men, apparently in their 30s, he said.

Additional information from authorities was not readily available, but store employees who work in the area said they had been told to stay away until the scene was cleared.

The ghastly find comes just days after nine people were hung from an overpass in Nuevo Laredo, across the Rio Grande from Laredo, and 14 more were left in trash bags outside of the Nuevo Laredo City Hall. Just three weeks prior, on April 17, 14 bodies had also been left inside a minivan at the Nuevo Laredo City Hall.

Banners left near the bodies at City Hall have indicated the violence owes to the ongoing struggle between the Zetas cartel and the allied Gulf and Sinaloa cartels.

Gads, I cannot stand the low level of professional expertise demonstrated by today's journalists.

Nine people were HANGED.

If nine people were HUNG, they should star in certain 'special' films.

I know that the past tense of the word “hang” (as in executed by the rope) is “hanged” not “hung”. In this case the people were already dead when they were suspended by rope from a bridge. Maybe they were hung like laundry on the clothesline. Are there any grammarians out there?

Well, if they were already dead, then I suppose ‘hung’ would be fine.

You are correct. If we establish that they were dead first, then they were hung. If they were dropped off the overpass while still alive, then they were hanged. We need to get a forensic post-mortem examiner to perform an autopsy to determine the time of death.

Only then will we truly know the accuracy and correctness of the grammar.

These narco-demons like to cut people up with band saws. Then dump the body parts of numerous victims all mixed up

These are the same people that come into our country illegally and form drug gangs that threaten all our family members. But when we complain we are told the are only here for a better life to support their family's and we are racist.
