As leader of the free world President Obama will be used to making speeches to millions of people around the globe.
So he might have felt the occasion was a little beneath him yesterday when he stopped off in Reno, Nevada, to deliver an address outside a couple's garage.

there was a thread yesterday on this couple that stated they refinanced their home at the height of the bubble and took out Cash in the amount of 200,000-Plus — and now O is using them to convince US that they need HELP. No wonder they just stood there looking sheepish.

Another thing that was funny about the presser — covered by Fox News — was they closed with a shot of O crossing the street to the waiting Crowd of — of I’d guess about 20 people (maybe). Enough trappings of red white and blue ribbons and ‘stuff” to accommodate far more.

His mini stage looks less like a stage and more like a hole he’s standing in.
I’m thinking the secret service lowered him to make him less of a target to any distant would be assassin.
If that’s true...and I’m only guessing...it LOOKS like the couple are sitting ducks.
That woman in white looks bigger than he does, and he should be closer to the street, no?
I thought this was a joke until I clicked on it and saw The Won standing outside of this garage. How desperate is he?
Now that the GOP has annointed Romney, Ears will win easily. But Ears is obviously pretty insecure, since he knows that nobody outside of the Beltway and selected ghetto neighborhoods likes him. I say selected, because any black person in his or her right mind must realize that Bambi has destroyed the small businesses that they ran or that employed them and doesn’t really give a darn about them.
His melanin doesn’t counteract the fact that he was brought up in the family of a left-wing white bank president and her left-wing white dysfunctional husband in an only recently American state (where the stork probably didn’t drop him in the first place).
That said, blacks will still vote for him. Also, lots of low-income whites support him because of his leftist class-warfare rhetoric, but they won’t vote for him because they don’t vote anyway because it’s too difficult.
Just how big a flag is that anyway? A 3 by 5?
Was the American flag put up as a prop? Looks VERY new, and the fixture and pole are really clean and shiny. I’m pleased to see the flag, but I wonder if it was placed there for effect.
Maybe not to others, but to me this picture is as funny as Dukakis in the tank.

There is a sense of utter desperation in this scene. Zer0 is desperately trying to connect with Middle America using the props of a Middle Class neighborhood in the suburbs.
It is hopeless and stinks to high heaven. We need a leader who does not need people as props, teleprompters, and a staged background to spew his Communist propaganda. We a champion of liberty like Sarah Palin.

They covered the people’s lawn or kept the ‘audience’ at a distance from him, even though they would have all needed to be vetted.

If ever there was a pre-made SNL sketch, this was one. 3am, noise heard, hubbie checks driveway. “It’s OK, honey, it was just Obama setting up his podium again.” There’s now a Twitter hash #ButObamasInMyDriveway.
I can’t help but wonder if that flack who came up with the “reconnecting with ordinary Americans” line understands that it’s an admission.
Yeah, I can just see me going over to a friend’s neighborhood in order to get a good view of the Preezy or whatever Baraka calls himself these days. So, I get there, am strip searched, and I get to listen to him behind a barrier and on a mic. I’d have a closer view on TV.
Years ago, I was front and center, 10 feet from a Presidential candidate. Just to listen. I also went and tried to listen to the Toon once, but I got tired of standing and waiting after almost 2 hours, even though I was about 25 feet, stage right. What a prima donna, that Toon.
This takes donna to a whole ‘nuther level.
That idiot can’t even pass gas without standing at a podium. I guess that is his “tactical” podium. What a dipstick.
Well at least his team had people come in and touch up paint jobs, mow lawns and fix up landscaping. I wonder what they had to pay the neighbors to stand there for the photo op?
