If a person is black and a homo, where does the allegiance lay?

The liberal callers lined up to applaud President Obama's gay-marriage proclamation on Thursday's Talk of The Nation show, but one of them really stood out.
A gay man from San Francisco claimed "we are a race of people, not a type of person," and that is all Obama has to say to shut down any objections or debate: "this whole conversation ends."

TIM: Hey, thanks for taking my call. There is a part of the gay-lesbian-transgender conversation that is happening in San Francisco that's not happening on the radio with NPR or any other station. And there are many gays and lesbians and transgenders who believe that we are a race of people. And the way that we are a race of people, is we're distinctly different than any other race in the idea that we do not sexually identify as heterosexual. Now, if you take that idea of 10 percent of the population of the world, we equal 300 million people. That's the population of the United States.
And with that amount of people, we are a race of people, not a type of person. And I don't believe Barack Obama has gone far enough. All he has to do is say that the LBGT people are a race, and this whole conversation ends. We no longer have a difference between us and them. We are a race of people, and it needs to be addressed and it needs to be talked about.
Also it's NOT 10% - more like 2 to 4%... Gay and vegetarians are similar in that all they want to talk about is their 'condition'... I am so tired of their 'issues'... they're such a yawn.

Most of what happens in terms of activist gay politics is an over-compensation ... trying too hard to make their same-sex attraction seem perfectly normal in a world where every living thing exists because of the heterosexual design of life.
Name one species that exists or has ever existed that reproduces homosexually. There isn’t one.

If there was more than one side in this battle there is no way that Blue Dog Senators less RINOs would have voted for the DADT repeal.

The word “race” as it is now being used has nothing to do with a genome. race=culture.
That’s how Muslim is a race. Blacks who don’t live the hip-hop gheto culture are thought to be the white (eg. Clarance Thomas). So by this new definition gay absolutely can be a race.
The language is being systematically destroyed so that it is not impossible to have a meaningful conversation with many many people.
Good points. If gays are considered a race, then criticism of them would be both homophobic and racist. Strange how that culture=race thing works for only some groups, though. Criticism of Muslims or Islam is racist, but criticism of Christians or Christianity is not racist, despite the majority of the worlds Christians are non-white.

I worked for a hetero-hating uber-butch dyke a few years ago. It used it's sexual choice as a shield for EVERYTHING, as it was incompetent at everything from managing people to pouring a glass of water. This life form absolutely thought it was a separate race and was very vocal in admitting it. It thought it was a species that needed legal protections.
p.s. I quit that job without having another one lined up as I could not stand being anywhere near that freak.
Those kind of females commonly hate men, as opposed to heterosexuals. That's because, contrary to popular belief, lesbianism commonly stems from a serious problem in a relationship with an important male figure in the affected individual's life. Most lesbians have had sexual relationships with males, and rejected them, turning to women as a more comfortable alternative. The pathogenesis of lesbianism - yes, pathogenesis - is better understood in general than that of male homosexuality. They are not mirror images of each other in that regard.
BTW, the incidence of lesbianism in any population is much lower than the incidence of male homosexuality.
That trash trolled Facebook to find some comments she found “offensive” by a subordinate to have her demoted, all while she was out on maternity leave. Everyone KNEW this was done because this person was a “breeder”. And that trash supposedly used that term, although I personally never heard it used.
And the company allowed it to happen.
That was the last straw for me, I put in for a two week vacation, then later that day I handed in my resignation letter. That way it can't be said I quit without notice.

Yes they are very different gay men and lesbians.
Most lesbians seem to either be very butch maybe with a hormonal imbalance, basically men with lady parts.
or the other kind those that have been abused by men and driven to seek female companionship because of this, not sexual attraction.
Normal girls who just happen to like other girls to the exclusion of men? Almost unheard of. Take actress Amber Heard who had a girlfriend. She gave the standard “I don’t like labels” speech that these people use. But lesbians, who despite their own usual “beauty is on the inside/all women are beautiful” spiel are desperate for normal feminine women to be lesbians and so they fervently claimed her as one. Well guess what, she’s hooking up with Johnny Depp now (and dated men before which the lesbians ignored).
But anyway homosexuals are a race now? Great I can can be a regular old racist then instead of the etymologically improper term “homophobe”.
It sure sucks “being on the wrong side of history” standing against the “inevitable” tide of gay marriage.
