Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett demanded Tuesday, May 16, that Gov. Scott Walker disclose any advice state election officials gave him about forming a defense fund linked to a secret probe of his associates.
The Republican governor hasn't been charged in the investigation but Democrats insist he created the fund because he's a key figure in the probe. Barrett, a Democrat who will face Walker in a June 5 recall election, has demanded for weeks that Walker reveal exactly what's going on.

If there isn't one, there should be.

Barrett, a Democrat who will face Walker in a June 5 recall election...Looks like a perfect opportunity for campaign ads ridiculing the obviously partisan SECRET probe (a trial of the star chamber / Stalin show trials thing), Barrett's transparent attempt to smear Walker, and the fact that people have every right to defend themselves in court.
But when this was published Barrett squealed like a little girl. Can dish it out but not take it.
Kris Barrett, a teacher and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett’s wife, violated a Milwaukee Public Schools policy last year by sending three emails from a school system account that involved county or state politics, MPS officials said Monday.
The emails were first revealed Monday by Media Trackers, a suburban Milwaukee conservative group that regularly researches and releases unflattering claims about Democrats. The mayor’s wife was laid off by MPS along with more than 300 other teachers in June 2011. She now works in the Wauwatosa schools.
It’s all Barrett’s got, he’s got nothing to run on to get people to vote FOR him.

Barrett’s running a city with an unemployment rate of 11%. He’s behind in the polls. The unions endorsed his opponent. He’s desperate.
Barrett’s wife used public school computers to send political emails several times - at least three separate times, most to other democrat politicians on the city council.
Same stuff the democrat da prosecuted a former walker aide for - less actually - she used a govt computer to post an article comment pro-walker online.
