I don’t know why you keep repeating that.

The best part of this will be sitting back watching how the White House and the Democrats will try to spin this one LOL

We all know...

Obama will tell a couple of lame jokes about it, laugh it off and then go appoint a few more black fags to his cabinet.

We have been immunized against this fraud.

"Assuming his mother was still a US citizen, I do not think it would matter too much..."

I was under the impression that both parents had to be U.S. citizens for their foreign born offspring to automatically be U.S. citizens.

By April 21, 2007, the Obama bio had been changed to state that Obama was born in Hawaii:,

I have seen the original and revised bio. What I don't get is why did he add 'raised in Chicago?'

It is not like the MSM will ever touch it.

You keep using the same FLAWED assumption that ‘citizen at birth’ equates to ‘natural born citizen’.

Are you a constitutional scholar and lawyer or did you stay at a Holiday Inn Epress? Until the courts decide on the definition of "natural born citizen," we are left with reality. Under your defintion or belief, neither Obama or McCain was eligible to run for the Presidency. Or Barry Goldwater or Charles Curtis. The reality is that Obama is in the WH. Until the courts decide that he is ineligible to serve, Obama will finish out this term and run for another.

Your FLAW is that you want reality to conform to what you believe it should be. I will say it over and over. This must be resolved in the courts sooner rather than later. We have 300,000 to 400,000 anchor babies born each year to illegal alien parents. There are 40 million foreign born in this country now--one out of every 8 residents. By 2050, one out of five will be foreign born. There is some urgency about this issue.

Someone might have to ask Larry Sinclair, but I think Obama is uncircumcised.

Traditionally, in Kenya it was done at a later date[5 years old]. If he was born there, it probably wasn't performed on him.

He could have it done at a later date in Hawaii though, which I doubt.

If John McCain was eligible to run for President, then so is my daughter.

This is what made Mc Cain "eligible"

S.Res. 511 (110th): A resolution recognizing that John Sidney McCain, III, is a natural born ...

Obama, Pelosi and a few others signed of on this.

Thanks, am listening to Joe (broke story)(now on radio) and he is saying this was put out not because of the Birther issue but because of the people Obama has associated with and in hopes the main media would vet him.

It is not a matter of following it. Obama was never challenged by the GOP and the Tribe/Olson opinion was requested by the Senate to determine McCain’s eligibility. If it was settled law re the definition of natural born citizen, then why ask for a legal opinion?

Obama was on the senate. Tribe was on his campaign staff. You don't see an obvious conflict of interest?? And let's not forget, Obama didn't release his alleged COLB until after Hillary conceded the primary and several months after the McCain resolution was passed. The GOP didn't know he was going to forge his birth credentials. McCain sure as hell wasn't going to challenge him after a quid pro quo.

"It is not like the MSM will ever touch it."

Unfortunately, it is much more than the MSM. I don't think the facts or any legal argument matter. There is no instrumentality of government that will touch him and numerous examples of earlier challenges being ruled against or sidetracked. The only potential effect is on the election and the media will make sure that is really deemphasized and ignored, too.

A question ... if we cannot trust this man to tell the truth about his past (zer0 has been very secretive of his past - executive orders to cover-up his past) how does America trust him now?

If it was a mistake, it was perpetuated years later when local Chicago newspapers again wrote that he was born in Kenya when he ran for state office. I highly doubt they obtained that information from this old bio that his literary agent drew up.

That resolution was based on the Tribe/Olson opinion. And it really didn’t make McCain “eligible” to run. The Senate Resolution has no force of law. The matter was never brought to the courts. The definition of “natural born citizen” as it applies to eligibility to serve as President and Vice President has never been resolved.

Kabar,
I am with you on your daughter having the right of natural born where you were overseas defending our country and your wife was a naturalized citizen. There should be no issue that she is not a natural born. Citizenship should naturally flow through the parents. Your heart and your wife’s heart is with the United States.

Obama’s parents hearts were never with the United States. There was no natural flow of allegiance through them.

I wish our country would come together on this issue and realize that to be a natural born is to naturally flow through both parents. This is how it should be!

Fly over and squatter birthrights should never be given!

It's the same reason Rush and Levin don't embrace the story. It's not some grand conspiracy, despite what some FReepers seem to think.

Look at it this way. If Rush Limbaugh said "the sky is blue" there are about 20 million morons in this country that would cease to believe that the sky is blue for the rest of their lives and they would gouge their eyes out for agreeing with Rush Limbaugh. Rush knows this and on certain subjects he subtly directs people to other sources that won't be rejected out of hand.

To a lesser extent the same phenomena is true for all right-wing pundits and authors. The mere fact that they say something is the proof that it's wrong and shuts the doors in those tiny minds out there to any other explanation. Forever.

He does not look at the stories online as he does them.

Actually he does. He has his computer monitor directly to his right and it is always open to Drudge. We shall see tomorrow after the Alphabets ignore the story, whether it gains any traction. Open line Friday will tell the tale because you know his listeners will be asking about it.

The obvious answer here is it would not be good business and unfair to his advertisers to send his listeners to Drudge during his show, so he sent them after his show was over.

The Supreme Court has followed the Law of Nations in defining natural-born citizen. They did so in Minor v. Happersett, which was quoted and affirmed in U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark. Eighteen Supreme Court justices agreed on the NBC definition. In the law of nations, it says children born in the Armies of the state are considered born in the country if they are born abroad. This made McCain a natural-born citizen. The Law of Nations definition does NOT, however, make Obama a natural-born citizen and neither do the two Supreme Court cases that were cited. Obama doesn’t even meet the court’s 14th amendment definition.
