Here is another legal opinion on McCain's eligibility.

He is immune to reason.

I know about the Law of Nations. It is referenced in the U.S.Constitution concerning piracy, something I noticed 5 years ago researching BHO2. I, too, believe it played an important role in forming much of our governing document.

But the NBC requirement for the U.S. Presidency is not accompaniedd by that caveat and is further defined by SCOTUS during the susequent one hundred years after our nation’s founding. That should really be sufficient.

What I find interesting is how many people still do not understand the law or its unpinniings. The Democratic Party does, or they wouldn’t have worked so hard these past 16 years to have the Article II requirement of NBC eliminated.

No, I do not believe that service personnel that are illegals should guarantee their children citizenship. I also do not believe illegals should be joining our military! That is just aching for trouble!

He is immune to reason.

I don't think so. He is hard to convince though.

On reason he may have left Kenya:

The Kenyan Penal Code of 1930, as revised in 2006, provides as follows:[15]
Section 162. Unnatural offenses.
Any person who -
(a) has carnal knowledge of any person against the order of nature; or
* * *
(c) permits a male person to have carnal knowledge of him or her against the order of nature,
is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for fourteen years:
Provided that, in the case of an offence under paragraph (a), the offender shall be liable to imprisonment for twenty-one years if -
(i) the offence was committed without the consent of the person who was carnally known; or
(ii) the offence was committed with that person’s consent but the consent was obtained by force or by means of threats or intimidation of some kind, or by fear of bodily harm, or by means of false representations as to the nature of the act.

Excellent and logical point.

Therefore completely out of place on this thread.

Someone with standing needs to raise the issue.

Cute since there does not appear to be anyone on the face of the earth, not even a candidate in the same race, "Alan Keyes", that has standing.

Don't know ... haven't had time to check. Haven't had time to check any of the vetting on miriam goderich. Assume (and I may make one of those things out of me for assuming) the checking and vetting is in full swing by others.

“John McCain’s father was an Admiral in our armed forces sent to Panama to SERVE THE NATION. It is disgusting to think that some would reject his son as insufficiently loyal, or insufficiently American to be President.”

Loyalty is beside the point. The Panama Canal Zone was leased by the U.S.Government from Panama and deemed by our government as “unincorporated territory” over which the U.S.Congress had jurisdiction and not the U.S.Constitution.

Children born to U.S. citizens in the Canal Zone were to be considered U.S. citizens, but as it wasn’t U.S. soil, they weren’t NBC. Same goes for U.S. citizens born in Puerto Rico, also an “unincorporated territory”, where the folks are U.S. citizens but not NBC and therefore ineligible to be President.

Arizona, for example, was considered an “organized incorporated territory”, a part of the U.S. by extesnion. So Barry Goldwater’s birth there as to U.S. citizen parents made him an NBC.

I don’t make the laws, so don’t get angry at me.

The Children of our Soldiers are “natural citizens.”

Especially if both parents are citizens and the child is born in the USA, otherwise not so much. But who cares, soon we will all be CItizens of the World like Zero claimed to be, or have we forgotten that part?

John McCain ran for President of the United States. Was he eligible?

No he wasn’t and SR 551 was cover for Obama, not him. Neither is your daughter, no matter how much you love her.

Not really. It takes a while for the seeds to germinate.

The Law of Nations influenced our laws. However, the Law of Nations does not trump current United States law. Our laws are supreme.

Since your daughter was born in another country, she could also be considered a citizen of that country.

Thus she has dual citizenship and she is not naturally a citizen of just one country.

You are pretty slow at getting this.
