Romney Is Wrong on Wright
American Thinker ^ | Saturday May 19, 2012 | Karin McQuillan

According to the Times, the Romney team has decided not to assail Obama's "likability," for fear personal attacks will backfire with independents.

Message to the Republican establishment:  do not muzzle those of us who want to focus on Obama's troubling history with angry Marxists, black and white, including Reverend Wright and Bill Ayers.   This is not about race.  It is about knowing who Obama is, understanding what he has already done to our country, and what he is capable of doing.

The issue of Rev erend Wright is not peripheral, it is central.  It gets to the heart of the differences between conservative and progressive views.  Democrats have won on the field of character assassination -- they have defamed and destroyed respect not simply for Republican candidates, but for all Republican voters.  When Republican party leaders refuse to inform the public about the hateful, radical character of the liberal/progressive agenda for America -- so visible in Wright and Obama -- we are hobbling ourselves, and we will lose the bigger fight, which is about identity, core beliefs and values.

[....]

We're not supposed to investigate who President Obama is by looking at the people whose advice he sought and beliefs he respected, the people he hired and the people who hired him.  Instead, we're supposed to kowtow to false and despicable accusations of racism against Republicans.

We're not allowed to comment on the behavior of someone if his skin color is black?  I find that racist.  I prefer to see all men as equal.  How can you have a fair election contest with a black candidate under those conditions, where only the white candidate can be vetted?    I want a media that vets Obama as thoroughly as they vet Romney.

I am guessing the Chicago machine may have found something pretty damaging (maybe Mormon related) , and they came to one of those so called “gentleman’s agreements”. Romney is too nasty of a campaigner to just let this slide.

My theory is Romney isn’t interested in bringing Wright in because he thinks (wrongly) that if he takes a stand against pointing out Obama’s religious perversions then later there will be a similar reaction from Obama regarding the coming attacks on Mormonism.

Romney, in the end, cannot stop independent groups or journalists (real journalists, not the ones you see on local or most network TV news shows) from tying BO to JW.

Is he going to treat the rest of this country like it's backwardass MA? (Same with Scott Brown) So, it's up to those conservatives/rino supporters who will vote for this liberal prick to hold him accountable when he does exactly what he did in MA.

Like I said, prepare for McCain II

He is McCain 2 in that he’s a RINO, but there are differences. McCain is a RINO by virtue of his extremely low IQ (he thinks he’s a conservative but isn’t bright enough to handle 4 syllable words like ‘conservative’). Romney is a RINO because he’s absolutely devoid of principles and so far RINO has served his goals of personal power.

McCain is a RINO because he’s feeble-minded. Romney is a RINO because he’s a con-man.
