Makes sense. Hes got the build, the fashion sense, and just maybe the gaydar-pinging facial structure. And yet no ones sure yet that hes the one whos coming out. All we know is that its a male, that itll happen next month, and that hes one of the major iconic DC characters. Is there something youd like to tell us, Batman? Actually, no need: We already know. So which one is it? The folks at DC Comics arent saying, but they do say its the latest effort to make sure their comics keep up with the times. Last September, DC Comics relaunched its entire line of comic books to feature an updated look and a new lineup of LGBT superheroes: including Voodoo, an African American bisexual woman and Batwoman, an open lesbian
DC and (archrival) Marvel are recognizing that there is an LGBT audience that has been reading their comics for years, said Matt Kane, associate director of entertainment and media for GLAAD. When creating these fictional worlds its important to show the full diversity. Aside from making good business sense, Kane said younger readers are perfectly comfortable with gay characters and expect to see their peers represented.

Does this mean that Lois Lane is a trannie?
Aww. Laz could make her switch teams. He's my idol.
What would be the name of this new, gay, Super Hero (he asked, ducking)?
Keeping up with the times? Got'cha! They're admitting it's a choice and a fad of the times.
“Pretty vile that they would take a character who was the first super-hero and the inspiration for countless more. Ignore that legacy and focus on what liberals think is really important...what he does with his privates in his bedroom.”

Vile defines the queer agenda.
This is another attempt to mainstream homosexuality in the minds of kids.
I’m a bit surprised there aren’t more serious comments on this thread.
Maybe Clark Kent will be straight but Superman gay? Think of the years of story lines if he turns out to have some sort of split identity.
To be fair; it is still speculation. But can you imagine looking back at all those great WW Two era Superman covers where patriotism just blared out at the reader, and now you find out that Superman is QUEER? If so...BAD idea. This is the influence of Hollywood’s Dan DiDio on DC Comics.
“Does Supermans sexuality really matter to kids?”
Naw. I guess you’re right. Let’s make him a cannibal and a pedophile too. Maybe throw in some bestiality. Kids aren’t affected by culture anyway. sheesh

Take your pick!

I submit - I submit!!!!
Interesting.
I’d have a difficult time buying it with either Superman or Batman.
Ok, granted, after all Superman is an extraterrestial life form, and as someone else pointed out, he may find human females about as desirable as human males would find your average female chimp, but there’s that whole Lois Lane thing.
Now with Batman, hmmm............Dark Knight Rises comes out pretty soon, and they’d be taking a major risk (though thankfully, Nolan’s version has eliminated the Robin character from the continuity).
Maybe as someone else said, Green Arrow.
Or Aqua Man.......but he’s kinda useless, to me at least.
I dunno - it seems like proof on the other side would be Captain Kirk - for whom other-speciesness seems to have made him even hornier.
Festiveman ( pronounced in a whimsical voice or with a lisp ).
Pottery Barn Man.
Where would he find a phone booth? He'd have better luck finding a radio that still used a 6SJ7.
Hey, he wears tights and looks like a muscle-bound baller-no (If that’s what a guy who dances ballet is called.) What is more gay than a guy wearing tights and looking like a ballerino?
