I'll bet there are a whole lot of zealous antigun prosecutors out there who'd argue differently and a lot of ignorant jurors who'd believe them. I still want options.
You're probably right. But if I'm attacked by a mob and have a wife and/or children with me I'm going to use deadly force. I'll just have to take my chances with the jury.
As the old saying goes, better to be judged by twelve, than carried by six.
