McKean, 64, a New York City native who played Lenny on the hit television show, was seen bleeding from the head after a car barreled into himNo criminality was suspected in the smash-up, police said.
Great writing here. Barreled suggest a speeding car at least or violating a signal.
How about just the facts and leave the drama to the society page.
Apparently the driver was not at fault so lets not use inflammatory words unnecessarily.

Doesn’t say anything about who hit him, so I’ll assume it was a hispanic male who then fled (staggered) away from the scene.

Good to hear he’s out of critical condition.
Every once in a while, when walking down an avenue and looking at the traffic in NYC, I wonder why more people on the sidewalk aren’t hit by out of control cars.

Well, I’m sure I’d feel much worse if I weren’t under such heavy sedation.

I don’t know much about him either good or bad other than he sure was a good actor.

I just remembered, he played “Perry White” in one of the very best episodes of “Smallville”. He basically made the show.
