Chris Matthews: Jesus Would Have Protected Kid Romney Chased

While discussing gay marriage with two black religious leaders on different sides of the issue, MSNBC's Chris Matthews said Jesus would not have chased a kid and cut his hair like Mitt Romney reportedly did as a youth in high school. Matthews says Jesus would have protected the kid. "I remember that Jesus always stood against the people being stoned," Matthews said to gay marriage opponent Bishop Harry Jackson of the Hope Christian Church. "He was the one who said, 'don't condemn people.' His friend was Mary Magdalene, right?" Matthews asked rhetorically. "He wasn't out there saying obey the law strictly like the pharisees were. He was the one saying, 'be Christian in the sense of looking out for mercy, people who were in trouble." "Do you think he would have been chasing after the kid with long hair and cutting his hair, or he would have been the one protecting the kid with long hair in high school?" Matthews asked.

Mitt was a draft dodger too, he had Mormon headquarters issue him a draft deferment, and moved to France to be out of the public eye as his Mormon Bishop father ran as the anti-war, republican candidate for president.

His friend was Mary Magdalene, right?" Matthews asked rhetorically.

Hey, hasn't Chrissie gotten the memo? The one old enough to have been written by Peter Jennings (or Martin Scorcese). The one that said that Mary wasn't the prostitute who repented and that early Church elders were jealous of her relationship with Jesus and combined her with someone else?

You're telling a different narrative now.

When was the last time Chris Matthews picked up a Bible?

He probably read Sal Alinsky book something this year...

Oh' wait... you mean the Holy Bible, not the libtards version

The tired old liberal ploy of using Jesus, who most libs despise or, at least, either deny existed and definitely deny that he was the Son of God, to castigate some political opponent is an old Alinsky trick that has been pulled so many times that it has become pathetic.

Ignore dopes such as Chrissy Matthews and his clumsy attempts to make Romney into a 'bully', which is soon to eclipse 'racist' as the most devastating accusation a liberal can throw at a Republican.

I get the impression you aren’t the guy who has enough brain cells in a row to recognize sarcasm.

We don’t know what Romney’s holy book says about bullying.
